Ate here the night we arrived at our hotel as it was the nearest resturaunt. We arrived at 7.15pm and they asked if we had booked as they were very busy. (no one in). They sat us down and and brought the wine list (Very...reasonable) and ordered a bottleof red wine that was fine. He then brought the special board menu to us and recommended the king prawns or scampi. We ordered the prawns (12 euros) and he asked how many we wanted and he suggested at least 3 each as the price was only for 1. Anyway they duely arrived whith the head off but still on the plate. The amount of "meat" in each prawn would have looked lost on a tea spoon!! We comlained to our waiter who suddenly could not now speak english. We sai we were not prepared to pay for them and we would just pay for the wine and leave. After conversation with my wife (I refused to talk to them any more as I was disgusted with them) the brought ua a plate of cold meat that we did not want as an appology. We finally paid for the meat and wine , not the prawns and left. All the time we were there we noticed they did not offer the special board. I think they thought as we were not regulars they could rip us off with expensive and very poor food. Did not go back.More

Was recommended here by our hotel. Every plate wasn’t interesting and tasty. Had a great and reasonably priced wine list. Service was flawless. Highly recommend, if we are back in Formentera again will definitely eat here, thanks!

That was our first, but for sure not our last visit! We've never had a better service on Formentera!! The food also was great! Not the cheapest, but the best!

WoW we had probably the best orgasmic pasta with Vongole in our life, we will come for sure to have this feeling again.

My wife and I happened across this attractive restaurant last evening when looking for somewhere to eat. We ordered a drink and sat outside with the menus and decided to stay to eat - before which they provided an appetiser bowl of deep fried squid...with balsamic and lemon- very nice. We sat down and the waiter came over and ran through the specials of the day that included a range of fresh fish - sold by weight not per portion. No information was given on prices and we were daft enough not to ask - feeling comfortable. The waiter then returned with a large Snapper on a platter and said this was excellent and the chef could prepare it with potatoes and olives. We said we’d have it and it duly arrived and was very nice. It was immediately apparent however that there was more than enough fish for at least four people and we had to leave over half of it. When the bill came it was €130 for the fish for two!!! What annoys me about this and why I say beware, is that it must have been blindingly obvious to waiter (who was seen to grin at his mate when we agreed to have the fish) that it was far to much for two people and so the fair and honest thing to have done would have been to point this out and confirm the cost so we could make an informed choice - or more sensibly offer us an alternative . The fact they chose not to do these things convinces me they were happy to rip us off. Crying shame they had to take advantage like that, because otherwise they would have got a much higher rating. Golden rule - agree the cost of fish sold by weight before you commit to it.More

Excellent restaurant serving very fresh fish. We had tartare tuna and oysters as starter, pasta with tuna and pasta with shrimps and tiramisù and everything was absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and respectfully playful. Recommended.

We have been to Casanita several times and always return. Reservation is a must as it gets extremely crowded. Food is great and service is attentive. We will continue to return to one of our favorites.
