New to the area and called in and ordered chicken curry off the bone and cod and chips, chicken curry all breast and thankfully no skin was delicious as was the cod and chips Highly recommended

Visited as our first night in the area, staying locally and our daughter visits this fish and chip shop. Really great service, couldnt fault it. Fish was a little greasy for my liking but it did have great flavour. Chips were great. Loved the different...curry sauces, that went down well.More

Went to have a Fish and Chips last night, the business has completely changed with young kits serving a product that they know nothing about. The actual fish was disgusting, all batter no fish. Would definitely not visit this establishment ever again and not recommend...to anybody-else. Simon's Plaice was outstanding but good things come to an end and this has definitely has.More

I’m so pleased that we have at last got a very decent Chip Shop in Llantwit Major, the quality of the food is excellent and all freshly cooked to order. I particularly like their fish as they coat it in a light batter. Had several...fish & chip meals since their opening and each has been very enjoyable. Like the previous reviewer we stopped going to this Chip Shop as the previous owners used to serve a thick grungy type fish batter that was not enjoyable, the chips too were of poor quality. So well done Farnham’s - keep up the good work.More

Simon's Plaice has been taken over and is now Farnhams. We had stopped going to Simon's because quite honestly the Fish and Chips were not so good anymore. However we decided to give it another try now it is under new ownership. It is much...improved, let's hope it stays that way. We had the Pensioners Fish and Chips special, which comprises a small piece of fish in a scrumptious batter, chips, which were delicious and not the least bit greasy, and a selection of sides, which were Mushy Peas, Beans, Gravy or a choice of 3 Curry Sauces. We decided not to have a side. The fish and chips were delicious and plenty for my husband and myself, in fact I could not eat all my chips. At the price of £3.75 it is great value for money too. The staff were very friendly and happy. We will definitely buy our fish and chips from Farnham's in the future.More

Large Fish and Chips, excellent, nice really clean plaice, very efficient staff. Fish cooked to order, so you have to wait but its worth it!

this chippy is ok. Great staff and food is reasonable priced, my only observation is the Batter is full of oil, would be great if there was a lightly dusted option also the sausages are and taste cheep
