Llantwit beach is lovely for tea or just taking the to the seaside, parking is great but there are a lot of surf types in their vans cluttering up the place smoking all types of herbs! That said the cafe is consistently good all year....Ignore the vans and bring the kids.More

Food serious expensive best avoided. Don't ask for sauce they charge 20p per cachet for the cheepest sauce. This is with out doubt a best avoided. Beware.

Was charged £2.60 for a spoonful of Nescafé instant coffee and a splash of milk and when I suggested it was expensive the response was ‘yeah’. After checking the menu I pointed out I had been overcharged as it should have been £1.60 - and...then needed approval for my £1 refund. Also it is decorated like an 80’s toilet with bathroom tiles and pink walls.More

It was spitting with rain and we had walked up the beach and along then up behind the café as we needed the fresh sea air. In we came to the café and we had a flapjack and 2 absolutely wonderful hot milky coffees. We...sat there under the picture of the Waverley in the year we had travelled to Ilfracombe on it and we watched the families set their children down with chocolate cakes and Sausage rolls while Mums made sure the wet clothes came off and dry ones on. No complaints from the children they just wanted to eat the cake. The young staff were courteous and pleased to help when asked Everything was clean and tidy and kept that ay as p the tables changed witht eh different people coming and going. One of the best places to sit and watch or just have coffee and a cake and move on Thank youMore

Lovely location and a friendly welcome from staff. Had breakfast, was very good value! Only criticism is saves of sauce, they are my pet hate anyway! Certainly would recommend for breakfast and the cakes look superb!

We were visiting the beach and decided to have a snack here, we were served simple soup with a roll and pie with chips, the food was average and edible. On leaving I wanted to buy a few cakes to take home, I stood by...the counter and waited while the assistant ignored me and continued to gossip with a lady at the table next to me....I waited, she talked, I left without being served... not good for customer service, shame.More

A cosy, cheap and old-fashioned cafe on the beach. We simply had egg and chips but it was excellent after a brisk walk!
