This is comfortable restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, good service and tasty dishes. A few option available for vegetarians and vegans, good do with more...but hey, I guess this is the South African heartland.

We stopped here for an early dinner as we didn't know if our hotel would serve food that night. There were six of us so had a few different meals and everybody was very happy with their food. The waitress was very pleasant .

We had excellent service at the Wild Fig Tree. The staff were always there to help with the menu, and gave great options. It was really worthy every cent we paid for the meal. Unfortunately we cold not get to the dessert because the meal was delicious and we couldn't just save space for dessert.

Nice place for dinner. Food was good, service as well. We were sitting outside but had to pay inside, but no problem.

Perfectly situated for a quick lunch in between all the activities the area offers. Great food with excellent service. Craft beer served in a ice cold glass to refresh before the next stop. Definitely worth stopping

a great stopover between the views of the area - can definitely recommend the pizzas and burgers. Freshly made so not the place for fast food but if you are on a relaxing holiday its perfect. if you like ginger beer, it is a must.

On a recent long weekend in Sabie and environs, we had two lovely dinners at the Wild Fig Tree. The menu was varied and interesting, the food very good, and the service friendly (if a bit slow). Our hosts in the area said that this is the best place in town to eat, and they were definitely right.

The food was excellent. The hosts and staff were friendly. Nice ambiance. Only one small criticism would be the riempie chairs were not very comfortable for dining and were too low. But a great all round experience.

The Wild Fig Tree was recommended to us from our B&B, Sabie. This is a really cool and friendly restaurant and the food was really good and wholesome. The staff are relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended. Brian Abbott

An excellent restaurant, with very pleasing decor. There is a permanent Menu, and a Blackboard Menu which is changed every 2 weeks.Gavin and Karin are there to welcome you, and to make sure that you have a very pleasant dining experience. The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers an intimate ambiance. Exotic dishes , such as Kudu ,Crocodile, Ostrich are to be found on the menu.
