Wonderful experience in fantastic setting. We go every year. Food is normal barbecue fair with buffet starter. It's all about the atmosphere.

Neil met us and comfortably showed us the food options, our table and asked if the table was okay for us. We had drink on the round table to relax before we ate, we relaxed so much that we ate an hour after our table was booked BUT we were not rushed, as you can at other dinning establishments. In... We were so pleased to find the Roman Oasis. The restaurant is situated well off the main road, however this is truly the Costas best kept secret. The restaurant is ran by an English guy who opened this place with an enthusiastic vision for food and culinary expertise, some 30+ years ago and he still is getting it right. The... More

I think the playground needs a revamp as the children gave it a bash this season so next year your children should be even more amused. More

Really amazing place to come and visit while you are here, choose the buffet menu because the food is out of this world and you can keep going up for more (and we did) The staff are top notch and keep coming over to see if you need anything, the service at the bar is friendly and fast and the... The Roman oasis is a bazaar affair. We went as a large group of 8 adults , 2 teenagers and 3 children. We were impressed by the setting which is pretty and romantic and the play area, bar area, parrots etc and great. The service from one waiter (who is a broker in the UK) was fabulous attentive and professional.... More

I was naturally disappointed to read your review but was pleased to read some positive things amid a bad review and that you at least gave us three stars out of five. There are, however, some points you made which are not correct and some questionable. ‘Our bill was expensive, just shy of 500 Euros!’... More

Never go back so they say,but I did after 23 years everything was very much as I remembered it.......I introduced myself to owner Paul Hickling and reminded him that I said I would come back after my first visit, probably later than I thought. He was a fantastic host and never looked bored as I rambled on about how much and my... At long last I finally managed to visit this place, having read about it in Keith Floyd's autobiography. It is brilliant! What a pity it took me so long, it's superb! The food is excellent and plentiful, the desserts are fabulous and the ambience is second to none. It's a very wacky place and perfectly named, Bacchus would be proud!... More

I have know of the Roman Oasis for 30+ years, having visited as a kid in its early years in the 80s. I had nothing but fond memories of it, so, with my Mum out visiting - another Roman Oasis fan of yesteryear, we thought we would revisit to get the up to date experience. The Roman Oasis can be...
