If I could give a 0 or even less, I would! Let me just list all disappointing aspects of this event. We were 12 people. - The menu offered only two dishes to chose off. - The appetizers were were 1 piece of cheese and 1 piece of fuet (sausage) per person: pathetic - Had to ask about 10 times... Can Carbonell means a drive ... you are not going to get there any other way. Given that, there are a lot better restaurants in the Barcelona outskirts to drive too than this one ! And it doesn't come cheap, Sunday lunch was nearly 30 euro a head for 4 (including 2 kids) and no appetiser .

nice traditional rustic finca with rustic food, the calcotts are really good when in season, like a walk back in time and surrounded by countryside without being far from barcelona

Off the beaten path, on an unpaved road outside of Barcelona. Surroundings not that interesting. Service was good, also taking into account that we were in a large group. The calcots were not very good. Way too green inside, and too "onion-y". The bread and the calcot sauce were very good. The meat was dry, nothing special. The red wine... More

Maybe we were unlucky but the service was slow, we waited more than 1/2 hour to get the first course then the place was really noisy, many kids. The first was good (cargols) but the second course (entrecot) that we ordered medium, came well done. The waiters looked a bit pissed as they were not enough for the number of... More

Location is perfect, you are in the mountain but so close to the city at the same time. I was there on a business lunch the other day,,, we had calçots, cargols, mongetes, and steak,,,, the more I ate the better the taste. I highly recommend this place as a perfect weekend lunch. Ideal for families and couples. Service/Staff is... More

It's a very old Catalan "farm house" ("masia") in the middle of the woods, serving traditional Catalan food. Good quality, reasonable prices, good service. The only pity is that they don't open every night, as they formerly did, so you better call them to make sure that the restaurant opens the night you wish to have dinner.

I visited the restaurant by without any prior recommendations because it was the closest place on my way. However, I was amazed by the quality of food, service and the building which has been built in the 13th century. The price is not cheap but I believe it is good value/money and it is a good place to try some... More

Yes, it is unbelievable, we where sitting outside beginning of February for lunch, they have a nice terrace which is situated in the sun and avoiding winds (as much as possible outside). It is classic Catalan style; you need to make your own "pan con tomato" - easy: slice the garlic clove in 2 and wipe over the bread, followed... More

Great place for Calçots, incredibly friendly service, really nice place for a Sunday lunch. Highly recommend that you book the terrace on sunny days.
