Early morning coffee isn’t really a thing in San Agustinillo, but La Mora is one of the earliest breakfast cafes to open at 8:30, and their coffees are great. If you want a breakfast spot on the beCh-facing patio, you will need to join the line waiting for the cafe to open. It’s worth it. The juices are fresh, the waffles are fluffy and the Mexican egg dishes tasty. One of our fave breakfast spots on the Oaxaca coast.

It was so good we came back again and again. The food and service were great, beverages were piping hot and in Mexico that is a wonderful thing. The fruit plate looked so good on my husband side we had to go back so I could try it; Yup it was fresh, and very tasty. The cinnamon buns were very good as well. I’ve found most Mexican pastry’s look good till you bite into them and find there very dry, not these buns :) You might have to wait for a seat, but the wait is worth it.

We stayed upstairs in the apartment so it was just a walk downstairs for breakfast. We didnt bother going anywhere else because La Mora has the best menu in SA! Good coffee, fresh juices. Waffles, eggs, sandwiches. Their homemade wheat bread alone is wonderful! We had mexican eggs, vegie sandwich, molletes, toast, pork sandwich, yogurt with fruit and granola, avocado toast, chilaquiles over the course of 4 days. Service is quick, price is right! Even tho we chose to eat downstairs, if you are staying upstairs, they will bring the food to you! Dont miss this for breakfast!

Our second day here. We went for breakfast. Outside table with beach and ocean view. Nice servers. Menus in English and Spanish. Good prices. We had a fruit plate(lovely) and large enough to share. Fresh OJ also good. Coffee Americano, a bit weak and not full bodied. We both had the Huevos divorciado, similar to rancheros style with tortillas...a bit bland. Would we recommend? Yes. Certainly there are plenty of people reviewing this restaurant that feel its the best of the best. Will we return? Probably not. Plenty of places to try in this small beach area. 300 mxp for what I just described.

We stay in the posada above the resturant. There are only 3 rooms plus an apartment on the top floor. The room we stay in has a fully equiped kinchenette and a balconly with a table and chairs on the beach!! Its heavenly. The beach immediately in front of the hotel are a little rough for swimming but less than 5 minute walk along the beach youll find a lovely calm spot. The beach is beautiful and the water crystal clear.

I’ve been on this coast now for 10 days and this is in my opinion the most professionally run establishment. Everyone is friendly and efficient. The food is fresh and creative. It’s a little place and easy to miss but worth looking for.

A local told us this is the best place for breakfast and we agree. You get an ocean view and good food at a low price. HEARTY food, fairly healthy and freshly prepared. Thanks Elvis.

Had an excellent breakfast here. Fruit plate was large, varied & tasty. Spinach & cheese omelette was great, side of bacon was big. Coffee was great too. Definitely a good place.

They are open from 8am - 2pm and closed on Tuesdays. I found their breakfasts to be excellent and their service prompt and friendly. Try the waffles and the Frappuccino, which is more milkshake than frozen coffee, but ridiculously tasty

We had breakfast here twice during our time in San Agustinillo. The food was excellent, especially the savory waffles. We also really liked the fresh fruit and yogurt. Nice location with a breeze off the ocean and the service was good. Good value for the price.

In our short stay in san agustinillo we returned here multiple times for breakfast/brunch. What we liked: -the incredible servers all wore masks. The general population/semi permanent visitors here are not very covid aware- so there are other patrons who walk to their table and bathroom without masks. But this restaurant is doing right by all the Health recommendations in their control- sanitizing tables, wearing masks, open air seating. We felt very safe and welcomed here! -GREAT coffee and iced coffee -Really delicious food! Chipoquiles, waffles, fruit plate with yogurt and homemade granola, fresh juices! It was all perfection (and we hold a very high waffle standard). If you’re in town, stop here. If I could rate it any higher- I would!

This little street and beachside cafe provides nice coffee drinks, sandwiches, juices, and other tasty treats. However, at present, it doesn't appear to be open at night.

We had a delicious breakfast here with one of the best juice drinks we've had in Mexico. It's not right on the beach but there is a view of the ocean. It's very well run with enough waitstaff to have good service.

My husband and I came here for breakfast. Pastries were better than our main meals which lacked flavour and spice. Bread looked better than it tasted. However, I have to say the staff were very pleasant and attentive.
