The restaurant is very small, just 10 tables more or less, but confortable. The food is a mix between modern and traditional cuisine. Don't miss the Rabbit carpacio!

This is a good restaurant, although I chose badly. My wife loved it. The wild mushroom starter is enormous! The owner speaks no English, but is very friendly.

#1 ranked by TripAdvisor for a reason. We were lucky to get a table for lunch without a reservation but the place filled quickly. Only a few tables. Many regional specialties not on the menu and a good selection of the produce Navarra is known for. Best to order several dishes to share. To start we tried the cardos and... More

I was travelling from Barcelona to La Rioja. I stopped on a recommendation for lunch. Meson Julian was difficult to find, but that made the experience that much better. Make a reservation, the place is small, and packed (for good reason). You will be delighted with every bite. Don't go if you are in a rush. Good for stellar food... More

This restaurant is simply fantastic. A not to be missed culinary experience without the fuss that most known restaurants tend to make. Simple ingredients are transformed into dishes that provide your taste buds with an experience like never before. The quality of the veggies used are super. I doubt that we will ever have better artichokes than at this place.... More

My partner and I dined here on Friday night and throroughly enjoyed our meal. My partner had "pulpo a la plancha" grilled octopus and I had " Cordero asado a baja temperatura" slow cooked lamb. The food was equisite, definitely the best lamb I have ever had, it literally fell off the bone. Great atmosphere and service, would definitely recommend!

Meson Julian together with Fiance we visited second time this year. And again the second time was same promising and unforgettable. The first what cames into mind in order to explain Meson Julian food preparation concept is simplicity combined with experimentation. They are experimenting with local products, preperation methods and serving ways. Each dish has its unique character! Apart from... More

Tucked away in the small streets of Tudela lies the small Meson Julian restaurant. It weirdly says it opens at 2110 but no one answers until 2130 or later! The wait is worthwhile with friendly service and some stunning food. Enjoy their extensive fish range including meaty octopus, cod with tomato, scallops, onion and green peppers and, of course, stylish... More

Food was hefty and filling rather than inspired, and the restaurant is shatteringly noisy due to lack of any sound-deadening materials like curtains, so that loud voices all speaking at once echo overwhelmingly. Authentic, but not very interesting.
