We so enjoy eating at this little hidden gem. Ans and Reece make the most perfect hosts and we are always guaranteed great food served with great care and friendliness. Ans is a superb chef and we delighted in trying fish and chips, which were...so light and very tasty, a wonderful beef stew which was so flavoursome and had a hidden ingredient of a little gingerbread cake, which was amazing. We also tried the famous half chicken from the rotisserie. All the meals were so good. Large portions served with an abundance of fresh vegetables. Hidden surprises arrived such as a beautiful pumpkin soup, welcome in the cold wet weather. The pumpkins were home grown and you don't get fresher than that! We will be back again next year and we just can't wait.More

We've been twice to this place this year, once with my wife and two teenage daughters in August and once with my wife and sister and partner in October. First time we sat outside because the weather was superb and in October we sat inside....Both times we had the roast chicken, which I must say is delicious. The portions are very generous and come with both a starter and a dessert. The owners are very friendly and speak very good English as do most Dutch people. You definitely need a car to get there unless you are staying at the campsite that is all part of this establishment. The village of St Saud is roughly two miles away. We will definitely return next year.More

We ate at this delightful small family run bistro three nights during our stay in the area. The food was delicious fresh and well presented. The menu isn't large but what you get served is good wholesome beautifully cooked food and plenty of it. The...Dutch couple who run this restaurant are very friendly and the atmosphere is so very cheery. We wish them every success and will certainly visit upon our return next year. A great find.More
