Been there a few days ago. Arrived rather late, maybe that was the reason of a poor service - waiters were almost pushing to order but once we ordered they vanished and it was a challenge to get one back once we needed. The food was of mediocre quality and two of my family members got stomach ache after (heard... More

We had a late lunch at Budsaba, Muang Kulaypan. Love the hut setting, having food while at the beach, with lovely view and relaxing atmosphere. As there were no other customers, we were in no hurry and even managed to take a good rest after lunch. The free wifi was working very well on the beach too. We ordered the... More

We had two meals on our 4 night stay at Maung Kulaypan eating on the beach in the gazebo's was wonderful we could eat dinner without having to dress up, and it was also very romantic for some. The breakfast was from a menu so there is something to eat for all, it was very good. The staff were very... More

First night we had a lively fresh Mango Salad with prawns, a fragrant Penang curry and a red snapper chosen from the fresh fish on display and barbecued with lemongrass. It was all good enough for a return visit, this time for green curry, the best sea prawns I've ever had (barbecued again) and then a Thai style fried white... More

We have eaten here twice now. The first time we booked a private thai cooking course which was excellent! The chef and the manager were so friendly and we had a laugh as well as cooking some great food and learning tips too. About £35 each i think and you get masses of food at the end. 5 dishes. More... Budsaba Reastaurant @ Muang Kulaypan is a very nice place: you seat in these little "gazebo" on the white sand beach and it is so much intimate ... food is nice, fairly priced and the staff is very kind. The view is amazing, on the north of Chaweng, the sea-lagoon area. The best thing is the breeze that always flow... More

I love the beach huts on the beach, very romantic! The service given by staff here is very friendly and quick. I ordered a chicken with red wine sauce and it came with mash potato..the chicken was slightly over done with no seasoning and the red wine sauce had no taste of wine what so ever. Mash potato was nice!... More

This is the idyllic Koh Samui experience - beautiful Thai food sitting in a little cabana on the white sandy beach at Chaweng. The Thai people who run this place are so beautiful and service is so attentive. Our waiter Nes was such a lovely man with a happy spirit and eager to pelase - he even ran across the... More

We visited budsaba in December 2011 after stumbling upon it (again!) by chance. We had been here 9 years ago on our honeymoon and it was always a memorable evening even if we couldn't remember where it was! It is next to the amari palm reef in chaweng but set down on the beach with lots of raised private cabanas.... More

This restaurant is part of the hotel Muang Kulaypan. We've eaten here twice and enjoyed it very much. The Thai food was of very good quality and I can especially recommend you the prawns with black pepper! You can have your private dinner in a wooden shed/hut with the sound of relaxing music and the sea on the back ground.... More
