We stopped here for coffee, on a tour out of Funchal with a driver, it is on the sea front. Coffee and cake, custard tarts were the best we have had here in Madeira. Service came with a smile which is always a bonus. So if you are passing we recommend you stop by here. We were glad we did.... More

We were passing by Ribeira Brava and decided to stop and grab some lunch. The location is very nice and central, great athmosphere also. Service was quick and attentive. The gentleman who brought our food gave each of us a compliment as he put down our plates and our waiter was always concerned if everything was to our liking during... More

Went here pretty much every day. Food is excellent, staff are quick and responsive. Friendly by every definition of the word. The prices aren't too bad either. It's only a short walk from the hotel, making it ideal for a quick meal.

We tried this place because it was getting late and were a bit concerned about the price/quality ratio, but must admit that the result was fairly good, both in terms of product and service. The prices are on the touristic side but still acceptable.

We always eat at Dom Luis at least once when we visit Madeira. Food and service both excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Since April this year the staff uniform and decor have been updated and it's a nice fresh look.

Right on the waterfront, G had the tuna steak, I had prawn skewer,7 huge and I mean huge prawns, BBQ on a skewer., it came with a huge bowl of vegetables, and garlic bread. A carafe of white Sangria and water total bill 40euros . Staff exceptional.

We had lunch and food was very good and the staff were great. Offered the best selection in that area so worth a visit even if you just want a salad

Lovely food, excellent grilled fresh seafood. Plenty of locals having a quiet evening out. Good extensive menu, served by pleasant helpful staff. All in all a perfect end to a long days hike. Happy top return.

The best tuna I have ever had. I have never been disappointed at this restaurant and it remains my favourite place on the island.
