Basic fare and quite pricey. Service was quick tho. Amazing location just off the slopes so if you are looking for a quick pit stop for lunch it works otherwise better restaurants in the village

We have eaten here many times over a number of visits to Valberg in the skiing season. This café is directly opposite the slopes and lift in the centre of Valberg so have good views of the activity and gets the full sun. The food is good value but nothing more than average, but better than many ski resorts. At... More

Busy restaurant at the bottom of the main ski run in Valberg. Friendly staff, relatively cheap and simple but hearty food. Quick service.

For the third year in a row, probably one of the better and certainly the most innovative kitchen in Valberg. The chef is member of the toques brulees, an organisation of young chefs who deliver fantastic innovative dishes. Friendly and efficient service and reasonable priced wines. The tradional French onion tarte with fried gambas was outstanding, the 'tagiatelli of beef'... More

We have eaten as a family here on 3 occasions and the location is good just off the beginner's slopes and kid's area. The food is your usual mountain fare but nicely presented and tasty. Our initial waiter was pleasant enough but, then a young, blonde man took over with a really offhand manner, everything too much trouble, eye rolling... More

I was just yesterday night at this cosy restaurant, looks like its run by a family. We were greeting warmly and shown to our table. The menu was small and easy, the usual mountain specialities. We ordered a Valberg starter to share for the first course and a raclette for the main course. It was both excellent. The starter was... More

Our preferred restaurant in Valberg. We are twice a year in Valberg. Our son and his friends they enjoy the very good fondues and raclettes. We take a la carte. Innovative meals: I enjoyed the iberic porc, the best porc I have ever had. Reasonably priced and a friendly service. The chef is part of an association of young chefs... More

Reading all the French reviews makes me think we are talking about different places! We have been going as a family every year when we ski to the Valbergan and consider it to be one of the best restaurants in Valberg with truly authentic 'food of the mountains'. Our last visit was on Christmas Day 2011 for an untraditional Christmas... More
