Yummy!! Thought this would just be a coffee shop but the food is amazing! Generous portions! Home cooked. Try the strawberry salsa!

We bought wonderful cake for a family meeting and came back the next day for a coffeebrake in the afternoon: Kaffeetrinken in German. After two weeks in NS PEI and NB the first time feeling like being at home: Thanks for the great cake!

As we waited for our hotel room to be readied, my wife and i needed to kill a bit of time. We found this tiny place listed and decided to check it out. As soon as you drive up to what appears to be a wee house, the smells hit you. Go inside and it's food heaven. Fresh baked breads and rolls, delicious smells of seafood lasagna coming from the kitchen, and an array of pies and pastries to please any taste. And with the steady stream of pizzas being picked up, apparently they do that well also. We were just going to sample, but ended up having an early dinner with one of the best chowders I have ever had - my wife's grilled chicken salad was amazing also. We topped the meal off with a fresh made, strawberry cheesecake. So French, so perfect. This is a definite must if you are in the area. Hard to find, but well worth the hunt.

Beautiful view of the Bay at this quaint little Cafe. Many home cooked options for lunch and soo many choices of homemade desserts. Everything we tried was fantastic. Service was fairly quick and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Just a little restaurant. If I wasn’t told about it you’d never know. All home made meals. They start the meal with a homemade warm roll. French onion soup for 9.99 was delish. My daughter had the chicken wrap with carrot and butternut squash soup instead of with a salad. My husband had the special, salmon pie with salad, I think 17.99. Really worth the trip. Desserts looked so yummy but we were to full. We’ll be back for sure. I heard the pizza is good.

This is my new "go-to" place in northern New Brunswick. It is off the highway but sooo worth the detour! Charming little restaurant overlooking the water. Small menu featuring local fish/seafood. Outstanding chowder full of scallops, lobster and shrimp. There is also a new dish every day and it never disappoints. Not licensed but a minor corking fee ($5) if you bring your own wine. Delicious food, friendly service, waterfront view, what more can I say? Seating is limited so I recommend calling ahead to reserve a table. Also, it closes early (8pm)

Although I live miles away in another country and Dalhousie is my hometown, it was high time for me to stop by and try out this restaurant. Full disclosure: I'm friends with the owner's niece and she has been posting pictures of the chef's plates on Facebook for years. I was tired of salivating from my couch so I told a friend of mine that we were going for lunch before I returned home. We knew Christian, the main chef, was not working that day, but we were delighted with the seafood chowder we tried for lunch. It was velvety and tasty and it did not disappoint. The bread that came with it was equally deserving of a five star. We had tasted the restaurant's sugar pie the night before when my friend (niece's owner) brought one at our dinner party the night before and it is reminiscent of my mom's own take on the sugar pie. Delish! The restaurant overlooks the Bay of Chaleur and the view is amazing. It is very small in size, so reservations are a must for dinner. I will definitely go back when I return home to visit and get together with my girls.

Had lunch and dinner on the same day and loved both meals. Although the men is limited, there are enough choices to meets the desires of most people. Includes pasta, seafood and pizzas. Desert menu is endless, Includes berry pies of all kinds and in season fruit concoctions. limited seating, stair access to upper level *where washroom are located. decor: simple but elegannt; recently updated with large chalkboard menu air condionned parking in front and at the rear (with back door entry). service: beyond good. These people will go out of their way to make your meal great. They will cater to special diets and will make a meal to suit your dietary limitations. I go back ever year, it's that good!!

Food is absolutely amazing. Presentation is like Hells Kitchen. You have to pinch yourself and ask if you are eating at a little cafe overlooking the Bay of Chaleur or eating in a high end restaurant. The Chef and staff are amazing!

We visited this restaurant at the recommendation of the Airbnb hosts we were staying with that evening. We both had the Scallops Alfonso, and it was delicious. We ordered a cheesecake to share for pudding, also delicious, and the owner insisted that we have, on the house, something which probably in U.K. Best resembles a treacle sponge, but that doesn't do it justice. He had just baked it. Wow! Our best meal in Canada so far. It isn't licensed, which after a long day's drive was a pity, but they are happy for you to take in your own bottle. All their food is home cooked. We probably won't be back this way again, but if we were we would certainly return.

Reservation required as it is quite small. Nice menu. I had beef taquitos for my birthday and they were delicious.
