The beers include two brews from Maidstone's Musket brewery; very much enjoyed the Fife and Drum golden ale. Also there is a Kent pale ale which was very nice. Quite an extensive menu of typical 'pub grub' items. We chose scampi and chips and rack...More

Great food, fast and friendly service and nice surroundings. A varied menu of standard lunchtime fare as well as more exotic speciality menu item were available. Recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic 3 course set menu meal. Great choices for all three courses and everyone delicious. Portions slightly too big to be honest (not that we left anything!) Chris Till singing, always a crowd puller. Good to be back at the Nevill Bull since refurbishment and...More

Extremely disappointed. The location and pub interior are lovely. The food is not. Waited a long time for service between starters and main courses. The roast dinner was a small portion including over cooked meat and undercooked vegetables. To round off the experience the food...More

I had asked for a special meal of either roast lamb, roast chicken or Grilled Salmon served with veg and trimmings. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it.

Description
A traditional country pub in the pretty village of Birling, just outside West Malling. All food ingredients are sourced and purchased by Andy. Our chefs take great pride in preparing our dishes from scratch using only the finest ingredients. See our Website for the latest menu. We have 3 hand pumps for real ales and have been in The CAMRA Good Beer guide for the last two years. We have a separate dining room which can be used for Birthday Parties and other family occasions. Our large patio is perfect for al fresco dining in the warmer months. Music events take place throughout the year which will be advertised on our website and Facebook page. A family friendly pub where everyone will be made extremely welcome by Andy. Dogs are also welcome and fresh water is always available for them after that long walk!
