This is my second time there, the mission is to try its crepes...and I am so glad we went. The place felt the same as our first time there - nice and cozy - was decorated with a lot of arts and crafts mostly from or related to local area. We ordered chef's special with pesto and Caribbean with buckwheat... More

My complaint is that we waited 90 minutes to get our crepes. Seriously? Our drinks were completely finished and still no sign of the food. When they did finally arrive, with no apologies or reasons given, they were good (not fantastic) but certainly not worth the 1 1/2 hour wait! Also the "cappuccino" I had was really a latte. So... We ate 2 main course crepes: mine was shrimp, a little cheese and a touch of curry in the sauce..red pepper jelly for a dash of sweet. Very good. Friend had the Florentine.. ham, cheese, leaves... she really enjoyed it. Too full to eat dessert. Had some sweet cider, peach flavoured.. very nice. Service was outstanding. Will be going again... We discovered this place very much by accident and were charmed from the off. The staff, the atmosphere, the food and all the little touches - a sampling of cider before our meals and truffles on the house afterwards - made us fall instantly in love with the place. Though we haven't yet had a chance to take in one... More

Every year a group of friends meet after Christmas for an annual get together. This year Cafe Creperie was the restaurant of choice. A group of 7 adults and 3 kids descended on Jacques and his team and had one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. I had Caribbean crepes with shrimp and mango sauce, to die... More

Chef/Owner Jacques is a delightful character, as authentic as the French crêpes he serves. Had the pleasure of attending an art-show there where he offered up samples of his crêpes, which transported me back to the great restaurants of Quebec City, where I'm from. Quality, Service, Cleanliness, Personality, Wine Selection...the Café Crêperie has it all. It's a really welcome change... More

Hello Brian, Thank you so very much for sharing about your experience at Café Crêperie! We are so glad that you found yourself transported back to Quebec City - where Jacques himself spent many years while growing up. He certainly adds some flare to the art show with the delicious samples he offers up; perhaps this made you want to... More

Have been a few times. Typically quite a long wait, but all food cooked fresh and never had a bad meal there. Love their crepes. The owner and staff are always friendly. I had a friend visiting from the UK, and when the owner heard he brought us out a complimentary bottle of fizz to welcome her to canada. Nice... More

While we love the owner and his positive attitude every meal we have had has been ruined by slow service and mediocre wait staff. When your food does finally arrive it is typically good. They also have no high chairs or booster seats so come prepared parents! I wish the owner luck and hope things improve but for now there... More

A brisk day made the warm welcome at this cafe especially nice. As we were deciding upon our meal choices, we were treated to a small glass of cider..what a nice touch in this day and age! Might have been the owner ...he never said...but the gentleman was charming. The meals were substantial and delicious...fellows had the smoked salmon crepe... More

Hello Val2cruis, Thank you for sharing about your experience at Café Crêperie Elora! It means a lot to us that our customers leave with a full belly and a smile on their face. We serve delicious, fresh: savoury and sweet crepes, paninis, salads, house-made baked goods and soups including our fabulous chocolate mousse, a wide selection of coffees brewed from our bold, rich coffee from del Rio Coco, San Juan Nicaragua. We are also fully licensed.

Every Tuesday night we host an Acoustic Jam Circle - come take part, sing, play or just listen while enjoying a coffee and refreshment.

The last Friday of each month we have our Spoken Word, where you can read something you've written or sing or tell a story. Sometimes we break out and start dancing later on. Great times good music.

The first Monday of each month we display new artwork from one of our local artists and we have an art show on the Thursday evening. Art is for sale.

We love to encourage local talent so come in and talk to us about what you do.

On the weekends, weather permitting - from late spring to fall, Floriane or Laurence will take you for a peaceful carriage ride with their Clydesdale, Austin. He knows his route well and loves special treats like apples and mango sorbet on a hot day!

The Cafe Creperie is homey, cozy and fun and will soon become a place to feel right at home just popping in for a chat and a good coffee. You will never tire of the delicious crepes!
