We had thought we would not find souvenirs until we came across Some’Thing Fishy. What a great find. It has everything from clothes to knickknacks related to Maine. The storekeeper was nice and friendly. We would visit here again!

Amazingly Fresh Tasty Seafood with Very Friendly Staff I travel by the area several times a week, and one day I needed to stop for fuel on my way home. I pulled into the gas station and noted the cute restaurant attached to the shop....I was starving so I ordered a fisherman's plate with scallops, clams, and haddock. The food serving was gigantic. I expected the standard 2 or 3 little scallops, but this place doesn't do seafood that way. The scallops were large and so flavourful - it was like eating scallops for the first time! They were delicious. I couldn't come close to eating all the food so I had to prioritize the best parts - but everything was great. I've been back since and had fish & chips, a scallop burger, and a pan-fried haddock dinner, and everytime there are 2 constants: excellent food and very friendly staff. Keep up the good work!More
Stopped into Something Fishy late this afternoon for a quick supper. The decor is simple, clean and meals can be eaten in the diningroom or outside on the deck. Service was pleasant and courteous. I ordered 2 pc fish and chips,, hubby ordered the seafood...triple decker and fries.. The order came quickly and the food was great! My order of fish was supposed to be 2 pieces but i received 3 because they said the pieces were small.. I thought they were normal sized... fish was fresh and perfectly cooked in a crispy light batter.. Home cut fries were well cooked and yum good.. Hubbies seafood burger was heaped with scallops , fish and clams .. We both really enjoyed our meal and will return soon.. Nice to have this establishment back in business ,, much needed in this area and convenient off the 103.More
I had the turkey cranberry sandwich with spinach side. It was wonderful but I should have asked for the vinaigrette on the side - too much in the salad. I will definitely go back!
This is a newly owned restaurant. Greeting and service was warm and friendly. However, when I asked if there was wifi the waitress said yes, but we do not let people use it as it slows down our computer. The decor is clean and fresh....A group of three adults, we had two piece fish and chips, chicken wings with a side Caesar salad, penne with chicken and mushroom sauce with garlic bread. The fish was good but ordinary, the fries chewy and dark. The penne was good overall but the white sauce was watery instead of creamy. The garlic toast that came with it was devoid of garlic flavour and toasted on only one side, a first in my lengthy experience. The wings were small and ordinary. The Caesar salad was watery. Overall we were disappointed. Nothing was wrong such that it was brought to the attention of the server though. Our final disappointment was when we asked if we could have a smaller serving of ice cream we had just seen served at the adjacent table. Our guest was a 94 year old woman who, we said, could not manage a full sized serving. The answer was that yes, they would serve a smaller portion but the charge would be for a full portion. We declined, at which point the waitress said well, we could perhaps make it smaller and come to some arrangement. By that time she had lost us. It is unlikely we will return. The fish in particular in no way compares to the nearby Turkey Burger restaurant. In its current iteration, this restaurant has one distinct trait - nothing special.More
having visitors coming from digby I decided to try out this new place .We arrived about 1 30 ,there was lots of seating so we choose a seat by the window. Myself and 1 of my guests ordered fish and chips .When our meal came...the batter wastn't cooked nor was the fish cooked in the middle . We sent it back to have the fish redone . When the second meal came back the chips were cold ( obviously the same chips that were on our plate before ) and the fish was still uncooked . My other guest had turkey which was very dry and over cooked . Won't be returning.More
This restaurant is conveniently located, at Exit 11 off Hwy 103. It is new and we had already heard good things so we checked it out. I had pan-fried scallops and they were about the best scallops I have EVER had -- big and juicy,...and cooked perfectly. I asked and they get fresh fish, scallops and clams daily. The fries with it also were very good. Next time I will try the fish and chips, which looked very generous. The lemon meringue pie was huge and delicious, with a very high meringue. Very friendly and prompt service, too. We will be back.More
Had our first visit to this restaurant - our family of 5 - they quickly put a table together for us with no problem even though it was almost full. The waitresses were extremely friendly and nice and all our orders were delicious and lovely....I highly recommend this place to everyone!More
