We went for our first visit and thought it stood out as one of the best lunches we've had this year, and fantastic value. 5 courses plus coffee for €14 and every course was delicious. Service great too.

This is a great restaurant. Fixed 5 course meal including coffee and wine for 14 € per person. Soup, Buffet including seafood, cold meats and salads, Main was Pot au feu, Cheese Board and a choice of 3 puddings. The red and rose wines were very, very good. Must Book!

We visited this informal restaurant twice during our recent stay in Riberac and on both occasions the food was very good. The service was very attentive but not overly so. The food is fairly straightforward French cuisine but very enjoyable and good value. The wine list is limited but sufficient to match the food and ambience. We will be back... More

Typical French lunch it a sleepy little village near Riberac. Friendly staff. Buffet with a good selection of seafood for entree, Then soup as second, Beef and pasta main. Fromage & Fig Blanc for sweet. House wine was, as always perfectly decent. All for 13 euros

At first glance, this looks like a workers' caff with its unfussy decor and inexpensive table furniture, but as it turns out nothing could be further from the truth. I was disappointed by my main course - I could have had a steak (pictured) anywhere - but that was my bad choice. The steak was perfectly cooked and although I... More

We live here in France now and go to this restaurant regularly because it's consistently the best we have tried. The menus are changed regularly and out of season there are various themed nights where you can sample the delights of other regional dishes. The chef/owner is passionate about his business it really shows. We ate there New Year's Eve... More

Excellent food. Happy and friendly staff. Superb value for money. Our first visit with my 90 year old parents. We were all impressed - and full to the brim. Will certainly go again!

Totally fantastic place, you can tell as it's packed every day, we love it, such a great owner and staff, super food, such good value, our favourite choice for lunch here but we haven't had the chance to join them in the evenings yet but I would recommend to all.

We visited as a last minute decision arriving at 20.30 on a Friday night and found the staff very welcoming and friendly - smiling faces actually saying 'welcome' to us when we were worried we were a bit late just turning up without a reservation. Simple tables in a room towards the back - rustic relaxed french feel which is... More

Met our friends for lunch as they recommended the restaurant which had reopened after a change of ownership. We were greeted warmly and took an aperitif outside under the shade of unbrellas. Went inside - air-conditioned- and chose the menu de jour. This was an extensive buffet starter, filet mignon de porc, cheese and dessert. There was a bottle of... More
