Just happened to be passing & popped in for lunch. Quirky is a good description for this place, red corrugated building, sawdust floor in bar & a brilliant GWR themed garden. Beer was excellent as was the food. The home made faggots in particular were...More

Very interesting pub with loads of memorabilia going back to the time Great Western Railways built the building. Local ales really good. The steaks were very good and all the staff friendly particularly the young lady serving us.

No issue at all with the venue or the food and drink, but who I believe was the female co-owner was VERY rude and abrupt. Would not recommend.

I don't think I've ever been in such an interesting pub/restaurant. Every nook and cranny is crammed with memorabilia, photos, pictures, sayings, lamps, bicycles (yes, bicycles - on the ceiling!). It's a real treasure trove and I could have spent hours looking round.

Really unusual dark pink corrugated zinc building sets the scene for an unusual experience, sawdust on the floor, fires in traditional wood burners, Welsh music, then a lovely local beer brewed locally in the Gwanghwamun Valley with a traditional, understated appetising menu of treats like...More
