Delicious lunch. Open early at 12:30. Beautiful view. Easy to find, just was you walk up the hill into the old town. Will come again!

In Caserta, it is almost impossible to get bad food. It is an undiscovered gem that really prides itself on food amongst the Palazzo Reale. The service at Ristorante Da Teresa was acceptable and the waiter was almost robotic. Not a major issue when you consider other factors. The food was not acceptable. I was visiting Casertavecchia alone as I wanted to film and photograph. With my poor Italian I managed to order pizza and a bottle of fizzy water with the waiters help. We loved our front row table looking west toward Caserta and Mt. Vesuvius, though once it got dark it was difficult to see very much due to the heavy haze overhanging the area.
