On bus tour 7 December 2016, what a lovely morning tea stop, fresh fruit bread and 4 selected cheeses, all set up on our arrival and a small well stocked shop. A must stop if you are on holidays in Tasmania.

Stopped here because we had some time to kill. Nice rustic building, cheeses made on site. Tasting board of 4 cheeses for $5. Also have cider and wine for tasting. Worth the time and money for a stop.

Went by this place via the local day tour group. This place is cozy and offer varieties of hard and soft cheeses. The quirky and interesting point is, the cheese is named after their maker and their techniques. The best cheese that suits my palate is 1972 and Tom. To traveller who is a foodie, do pop a visit and... More

Sampling was included in our day tour and the range of cheeses was quite varied and very different from what we are normally used to.

The cheese, beer, bread and pizza are all made on site and are all excellent! We ordered the baked otto (which was just ridiculously good), a couple of oxymoron beers, a cheese platter and a pizza, all delicious. Its a really lovely setting, great atmosphere to sit back, amongst the natural landscape and relax with amazing smells constantly wafting out... More

We visited the Bruny Island Cheese Co & were blown away by the amazing flavours of the cheeses on our ploughman's platter. The wood fired bread & the condiments complimented the cheeses & the beer was delicious. The natural setting added to the experience, just great. I highly recommend it & we will certainly be back again.

Contradictory...yes! Bruny Island Cheese Co. is in a beautiful setting, the building and the furniture are functional and interesting, the cheese is excellent, the produce so well presented but sadly the place is severely let down by the service. We went twice and on both occasions our order was overlooked and other people were served before us. The first time... More

Thus place offered a selection of their own cheeses made with products from the island. It was very busy when I was there indicating it's popularity. I only stopped in to buy some cheese which was beautiful. The Brie wrapped in prosciutto and oven baked was divine. Not cheap, but like anything you get what you pay for. A must... More

Don't bother unless you want to pay to taste cheese. Not a tasting room but a shop that sells cheese. Bit disappointing but interesting to look thru the window and see them working.

Loved this boutique cheese Co. You can dine in, sample their cheese selection or browse their shop for souvenirs etc. The staff are friendly and always willing to talk about their cheese selections. Definitely worth the visit.
