Stopped in to this impressive building for a look and decided on ice cream, however the assortment of fresh pastries was tempting and food offerings will be saved for another visit. But lets get back to the ice cream, it was delicious, not too sweet and serving portion was worth the price paid. Be sure to make this a stop while in Camrose.

We day tripped to Camrose and found this charming café in their downtown. The historical building caught our eye. The friendly staff inside made the visit fun. The owners obviously love being there and mingling with customers. Out beverages were perfect.

Such a lovely spot, great vibe inside, historic building, light and airy. We enjoyed a delicious iced americano.

A local recommended this place for their excellent ice-cream, and so we tried it out on our recent visit to Camrose. The server was very friendly, and we loved the ambience and mood of the place. The building is quite unique, all white, with an interesting history. They had changed the source of the ice-cream, however. It was still very good, but not truly special. We'd still go back on a hot day for a treat any day...

This place offers the best ice cream in Camrose! With lots of different flavors and toppings to choose from, you can't go wrong here. They also offer great drink options!

Need great coffee? Come here & support local vs Starbucks. Super cool old house on Mainstreet. Once you walk in, its elegant & classic and is an ice cream parlour and coffee shop. Lots of places to sit & just super neat. Ordered Americano & it was great ! Fast service.

Always wondering in when shopping downtown for a Highlander Grogg Coffee to sip on! Always freshly brewed and the ice cream is yummy as it is Dutchman Dairy. Its a better stop than Starbucks!

Stopped by here to grab some Togo coffees for our road trip. This location is incredibly beautiful and inside a large building that has been beautifully laid out. After I initiated the greeting to an empty shop, a staff member reciprocated and continued on with her work. The other staff member with a straight face took our order and silently made our drinks. In an empty coffee shop this made for an awkward exchange. The coffee was good but based on this interaction I wouldn’t return.

My husband and I visited one evening for coffee and dessert. We were impressed with the beautiful building and the cozy atmosphere, however, customer service and unique baked product is lacking. We understood we were visiting during a busy street festival, but the owners should have been prepared for that. We were not greeted as we entered, nor asked how everything was tasting. The washrooms were also in disarray and dirty. I understand it was busy, but more bathroom checks could have prevented this. I was impressed with my Dutchman Dairy ice cream cone and coffee, however, we could have grabbed a cinnamon bun at the grocery store. We did eat-in and the cinnamon bun was served on a glass plate, but with plastic cutlery. I was expecting homemade and classic baked goods to match the branding/atmosphere of the shop. The Jaywalkers is an event where many are able to explore shops on Main Street they may normally not shop or visit. The owners, with some planning, could utilize this event to showcase what a wonderful unique business opportunity they have. With some changes this place has the potential to be one of our regular stops.

I was here Feb 11 2018 with my sister and niece for this special event. I was very impressed with the attention to detail. From the heart shaped sugar cubes to the Royal Albert china everything was very well presented. The food was excellent and service was very attentive. I look forward to their next high tea.

Pros: Great location in a historic building An assortment of coffee and bakery fare Nice interior with a mix of tables and comfy chairs to choose Games to play eg. Trivial Pursuit Prices somewhat comparable to Starbucks (could be a con to some people) Cons: Call me old fashioned, but when I come to an establishment especially a boutique coffeehouse like this one aims to be, I expect the customer service to be top notch. Unfortunately when I have come here I have not felt overly welcomed or have been greeted with a cheery "Hello" like you would expect. Instead, just a cashier standing staring at me while the other one is leaning forward with her arms on the counter and head down, both saying nothing and me being the only customer in the cafe. Recommendation: -Customer service training for staff and owner -Smile -Greet all customers as they are entering -Thank customers when they leave -Upsell. Offer a pastry that would pair nicely with a coffee or other beverage -If there's time to lean there's time to clean family business or not I have visited this cafe twice and I will give this place one more chance. There are other options in Camrose and on Main Street to choose from if the customer service does not improve.

The coffee house was recommended by family for us to meet up with my wife's old high school friend who she hadn't seen in many years. It was a central location that, being from out of town would be easy to find. I had an amazing iced latte, my wife had an iced tea and her friend had a hot chai latte. We sat on some comfy chairs in a little corner for 4 hours catching up. As we were leaving we were offered some samples of their ice cream. OMG! We will definitely make a road trip back here just for the ice cream, next time we're out. Staff were friendly and they had some Trivial Pursuit game card boxes placed on the tables if you wanted to test your knowledge.
