Lovely little cafe / coffee shop that we just quickly spotted on our drive through the area, we only had coffee and 2 breakfast muffins to go but the coffee was a lovely bold flavour, the muffins a little on the dry side for our...liking but tasty enough and the ladies working were very friendly - we would happily return to try some other items.More

Stopped in while on our road trip as we felt like a coffee and a pastry. Delicious coffee and home baked muffins and butter tarts. Heard they've sold to new owners and we wish them all the best! Great views too!

Was planning on another restaurant but passed it accidentally and decided to keep going. What a great mistake! The servers were wonderful, friendly, and well informed of the menu. Food was delicious. Fresh cut fries. Yummy porridge bread is a must if you order a...sandwich. They were so kind to bring a dessert for a friend who was celebrating his birthday the day we visited and can I say….I think it was a brownie with icing. OH MY GOODNESS. So delicious. This place is a real gem, from the staff to the food.More

Stopped in to pick up some baked goods to-go. Good selection on offer. Friendly staff. If we had the time, we would have enjoyed eating our pastries on the outdoor patio. Later that evening we thoroughly enjoyed our baked goods - toasted date bar and...chocolate brownie. Both were super fresh and very tasty.More

Had the most wonderful dinner tonight at the Clucking Hen. Dinner portions were large, home made and delicious. Our waiter, Jeff, was extremely attentive, friendly and interactive. Two of us had the Turkey club on homemade bread with crispy French fries ( only had room...for 1/2 the sandwich and two had the Turkey dinner. Home made desserts followed -lemon meringue pie and red velvet cheese cake. The cafe overlooks the bay and has an option for eating outside on their porch. They serve all 3 meals - you won’t be disappointed ! It’s located right on the eastern part of the Cabot TrailMore

I joined some friends for a last-minute breakfast at the Clucking Hen and really enjoyed it except for one thing: my friend had a gift card and it seemed like an overly complicated affair to use it! I'm not sure the reason behind but I'm...sure there's one. Other than that, the service was great, the food came quick and it was as it should be and was delicious. The atmosphere of the place is quite pleasant as well with nice views. I will definitely grab breakfast here again when passing through the area on the way to the Highlands!More

The staff is first-rate and the baked goods and cinnamon rolls are amazing! Sit on the deck overlooking the water, and don’t miss the antlers at the end of the parking lot for a fun photo!

I stopped in need of a coffee and discovered a fantastic restaurant and bakery. There was a wonderful selection of beads, cookies, cakes & squares. It was hard to choose but bought chocolate chip cookies, brownies, butter tarts & a spiced ginger cake. Everything was...delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely go back for more...More

Sorry Stephanie, I just seen this question. You may have already been here. Most days we do have lemon pie. People seem to really love it, so drop in for a piece if you haven't been by yet. Thanks for inquiring
