We were looking for a local place near Lourmarin. The menu was only in French but our server explained in English. Food was ver good. Recommend!

Excellent dishes, welcoming atmosphere, what else do you need? The menu is very limited but the dishes were so good! We had the the beef dish and the white fish. Both were excellent!

I've been here a few times and it's always perfect. Very clean, simple ingredients prepared and presented thoughtfully. You typically don't need a reservation.

This is a lovely restaurant, with a very high level of cuisine. We had the two-course menu, preceded by a delicious amuse-Boucher from the chef. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and beautiful to look at. We will surely return.

Enjoyed dinner here in the courtyard garden at the rear on a very hot evening. The good is wonderful so well prepared and presented. The place is run by a husband and wife, he is the chef and she is front of house. The place is not large just the right number of tables for the kitchen to cope with.... More

Right on the main street of this pleasant market town the Argelas is neither as colourful nor as prickly as the gorse bush after which it is named. Indeed it is a friendly middle of the road restaurant serving a limited choice of tasty regional food. My wife and I started with cold-smoked bass, mashed salt cod and asparagus. Both of... More

I do not know why but the night after I had dinner I got sick and throwed up all night, probably was the lamb or the appetizer. The waitress was not too nice when she heared us talking in english.

This gem is a real surprise, serving high quality creative French food in a friendly environment. The plate presentation reflects the quality of the kitchen staff and we had the feeling that this was typically provincial French cuisine at its best

We went to dine here after carefully reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. Actually very impressed! This restaurant is a real gastronomic place and you can see how hard the chef work on the plates. We took €25 menu with a starter and a main plate, both were excellent! If I stay around Lauris next time, I will... More

We had a fabulous family dinner in the courtyard at l'Argelas. The food was of excellent quality and flavorful, the service was impeccable. There is not a large selection on the menu, but everything we ordered was outstanding and they were very accommodating for two vegetarians in our group. Absolutely recommend if you are in or near Lauris.

Thank D M

The Chef, Regis Buisson as discreet as brilliant signs his card, from the salty to the sweet of an absolute mastery. The cooking is respected, the flavors are fair and the products authenticated with a great freshness. The most charming of the surprises of this address is hidden in the open patio that one discovers in the back of the restaurant in the nice season. Affranchi of the Chefs with whom it was formed (Prevot in Cavaillon, Gerald Passédat - Petit Nice in Marseille), he draws on his inspiration and seasons, simplicity, freshness and goodness. Régis Buisson delivers in his kitchen a true love for his country, his terroir. The menu displays refined cuisine that combines every day, tradition and imagination. A true encounter of flavors and taste of inspiration Provençal scrolls through its plates over the seasons, with the quality of the products that compose them. It is with great taste that Régis and his wife Nathalie transformed the old hardware of the village into an intimate place with decoration and soft tones. Provence and its light are the Chef's Muse.
