Nut and peanut allergy friendly! Food is super yummy ( best veggie burger ever!!!) and fantastic for the price. Beautiful view too looking at the water. Kids loved the playground and gazebos/ picnic tables were a plus!!! Definitely stop there is you can :)

Famous place to have a poutine, very busy but still very fast service from friendly staff. I was sent by someone from Montreal, and yes the place is famous and full of locals. Cheap food, don’t expect gastronomy, but goody to try the poutine dish...and meet the local life. Many games for kids. Terrace right in front of the riverMore

I stopped for lunch with my wife at GINETTE, a roadside snack bar located between Base St-Paul and La Malbae for lunch. My wife had POUTINE and I had what turned out to be a POUTINE HAMBURGER (burger with greasy cheese wrapped inside). At nearly...$25 with a coke this was not a great value. The POUTINE was average by Quebec standards, while the burger was greasy but OK. Suffice it to say that we both had digestion problems later in the day. I'd avoid this spot unless you are really starving.More

Had burgers at the restaurant 3 times. My teenager enjoyed the poutine and the special burger with an onion ring and cheese curds. We also enjoyed the soft serve ice cream. It was fun to walk across to the beach and watch the tide come in.

I eat a poutine at Chez Ginette and it was the best I ever tested! The next day, I brought my daughter and her friend. They agreed with me. The owner actually has a convenience store just next door/gaz bar. During the four days of...my visit, we talked a bit. She was very friendly and she sells fresh pies and pastries next door that were also excellent. On top of the good poutine and the friendly service, the view is absolutely superb!More

We always stop at Ginette to eat. The food is great and the view is breathtaking. The fries are really great you shouldn't spoil them into a poutine. :)
