Booked the curry night a fortnight in advance, acceding to their request to arrive at 7.15 rather than 7. Upon arrival were informed that they no longer do food and that the person who took the booking shouldn't have done so, despite it being advertised...More

Nice friendly pub, situated in the lower end of town, down opposite the church. Always enjoy whatever beer I choose on each occasion. Lots of friendly locals it seems. Occasionally had a buffet there courtesy of the local choir and the food has been delicious.

Lovely bar staff, very friendly. Cosy and welcoming. Great selection of gins. If we were to live in Bishop's Castle this would definitely be our local 😁.

Nice little pub. Locals friendly and it's dog friendly too. They do serve food in a small dining area but we didn't try it. Nice atmosphere.

This pub has one of the most impressive selections of beer I've seen in a long time. If you're a beer drinker I would definitely suggest making a stop here!

I loved this pub. Its how they should be. People who criticise this pub don't understand what they should be and that is about the beer and the people. The Six Bells has both these in spades. The beer is very tasty and there should...More

After working out way down from the top of the village and being to all the other bars in town, I felt a little let down with this one. It's a lovely old pub with a great inglenook fireplace, but the seating is a little...More
