Our first night in CatBa started & ended here. 5 of us enjoyed buy one get one free on cocktails all night whilst playing cards, beer was also cheep and cold. Location was great, clean toilets, pool and table football was free. Staff even let us control the music towards the end of the night. I would recommend from a... More

Only went here for drinks. It was happy hour on the cocktails only, which werent great..small glasses and not very professional. Beers were cold and staff was nice! Later went up to the bar on the 2nd floor.

Sign board outside for buy 1 take 1, pretty attractive but we got fooled.. we ordered Mojitos and Whiskey Sour and to out surprised a tiny glass came, very poor quality... they promote buy one take one for a tiny glass, few pieces of mint and small amount of passion fruit with full of sugar or syrup what ever they... When we arrive seems to be popular place so we give it a try. The staff seems not know what they are doing and rude. We ordered pizza and yellow catba curry. Both disappointing. The curry came back out later ... The food will be Ok for students on a holiday we hope. Skip it .

Nice place for a beer but there are much better places in town for food, such as the Green Mango.....

Pretty simple really: offer good food at affordable prices, beer at dirt-cheap prices and include a funny staff member and you're golden. It's exactly what this place does. Perhaps the real Vietnam dishes aren't exactly authentic, but the burgers and pizza's they serve are great. Also, beer is like .80 USD and cocktail are buy 1, get 1 free from... More

We had read about this place in one of our guide books, saying it offers decent value for money and good Vietnamese and even western dishes. However, our guide dated back from 2013 and apparently things have changed. To describe the food with one word I'd say it was disgusting. Especially the beer and lemongrass steamed squid were horrible: no... More

This restaurant pretty much focuses on "what turists like" totally forgeting what they actually can and cannot cook :) Food is very average, on the other hand, upstairs is a nice bar with nice view and a pool.

I visited this place back in April 2014 and since then everything is changed except the original charm of this funky village. People are following the Ho Chi Minh City mentality but not here. The new management has retained the original backpackers needs with more choices and alternatives. The inflation and costs have global impact. It is still 60 cents... More
