Pumpkin quinoa and feta salad. Don't order it. Who would think a dish this basic could go so wrong? this place should just take it off the menu because whoever is making it has no idea what there doing. No feta. No pumpkin. No dressing. Added chicken for an extra $3. No chicken. I'm not talking only a small amount... More

The hotel is fancy (so do all the prices). Maybe the hotel is good, I haven't stayed there. However avoid the restaurant. The lamb souvlaki/kebab was expensive (18$) and horrible. Meat was chewy with few pieces full of fat.

My partner and I had a great meal here on our recent trip to the territory, Meal consisted of 6 courses, each course was well prepared & presented. Great staff , great food! Its worth checking out the many indigenous art works in the foyer of the hotel while you are there, it was an added bonus,

During our recent visit to Kakadu, we were concerned, based on some of the reviews, that we would have trouble finding decent dining in this beautiful but remote area of Australia. Escarpment was perfect, and a real surprise for us. The menu was interesting, with good gluten free options, and the portions appropriate. The food was reasonably priced, fresh and... More

Food is ok, considering that we are in a NP but nothing unforgettable , it feeds you. Staff is young and not well trained but they are friendly.Coffee at breakfast is awful

Had read a few unsatisfactory reviews of this place. Have to say we did not experience anything but good quality. Service was attentive and efficient, food of good standard. The menu is a little limited but that may keep the standard good.

Walked in and youre hit with a woft of putrid odour. staff would rather be chatting behind the bar instead of standing at the reception to greet guests. (But that could also be due to the smell that is very off putting). We got there at 7am and it was fairly empty . Food was ok but obviously not a... More

We stayed here for several nights whilst touring Kakadu. This iconic hotel was my first choice. The meals here were lovely with local ingredients included. Staff were friendly and recommended dishes and how things should be cooked - kangaroo medium at most or it gets tough. Listen to them and you will be right.
