Lovely location, with good and inventive menu, but they try too hard to impress not always hitting the mark.

The first thing, the name! The combination of these two words - "Uai" plus "Thai" - brings immediately (to Brazilians) its meaning: the perfect mix of thai flavors to the traditional local cuisine ("cozinha mineira"). An absolutely fantastic idea! At a cozy decor, with a...More

The food here is inventive, beautifully presented and has unbelievable flavours. Even as a fusion cuisine sceptic I was bowled over by how cleverly the chef combines local ingredients with classic Thai food. The staff are incredibly helpful and the views are amazing. This was...More

We went with the kids for lunch and we simply loved it. From what we learned afterwards, the restaurant was located at Rua Direita and then moved to the "top" of the historic center, meaning (now) it has a wonderful view of the hills (Serra...More

The best in many years. The place is great. Super well designed. The drinks, the food, the beer, the dessert...wow! What a treat! The staff super friendly. The place for a special night!

Não se deixem enganar pelo nome simpático. Combinação perfeita de comida ruim e preços extorsivos. Don’t let the nice name fool you. Perfect combination of bad food and high prices

Nice and pleasant ambience, with a really good bar filled with creative and inventive drinks. The food here was quite good and elaborate. I recommend if you are looking for something more exotic. Service could improve and the acoustics could be better.

First off, the location and views are incredible. You will think this is Northern Thailand. The food is great, but everything is a creation of the chef so be prepared for new experiences. He doesn't use recipes and has based everything off of his vast...More

Cosy atmosphere and very warm welcome. Reservation worked perfectly through Ricardo, the chef, and bringing my own wine was a perfect match for the poultry, vegetables and seafood. Dessert was amazing and the "curry goiabada" with homemade cheese ice cream is to remember!
