If you are a cowboy at heart, this is the place to hang out for a while and enjoy a couple of beers.

The place is fitted out well, very western. Like the tvs in the booths. Like the bar area and the outdoor bar area. I dont like paying over $30 for a steak that is cooked so much its like a handbag, unfortunately my husband was being "too polite" to send it back, so unsure if it would have been rectified.... This is a very nice theme pub to bring city friends in for a fun night out. Lots of things to see from the stuffed bear, moose & deer heads... leather seats, cowboy theme. Pub grub is a bit limited as expected. Serves nice Fish & Chips and Burgers.

We have eaten here quite a few times since it opened and were initially impressed with the food however it has steadily declined in quality and tonight was the icing on the greasy old cake! The crab was probably the worst plate of food that I have ever been served at a restaurant and my partner's calamari was inedible. The... More

This place is a gem - I wish we had it in Rotorua - I'd be there all the time. We were there for the country music festival and loved the country feel. With the entire venue being decked out with the country cowboy theme, I was totally blown away by the attention to detail and unique styling of the... More

The meals were good and quite large, but we found the service from the staff a little slow. My husband enjoyed our meal a lot more than I did. The decor is quite cool, although the seats that we had were not really designed to sat on at a table while trying to eat a meal...they were both way too... More

This is an okay bar for a few drinks and bit of fun, but the food is bland, overcooked and overpriced. The chef doesn't want to know about it either. McD's is always next door if you are desperate. Typical Puke bar though on a saturday night, old coots out for a perv, drunk rugby boys drowning their sorrows and... More

Yep thats what they say and couldn't be truer for Saloon Saloon, which is such a shame. A year ago this was one of the best restaurants in Pukekohe, now to say the food is average and overpriced would be a compliment and a big one at that. Also what happened to the service? One of the girls is absolutely... More

Oh dear things have gone downhill big time since my last visit. We were a group of 10 across two tables. The waiter was quite a long time before he even took our drinks over, then he came back and said they had run of of Sol beer and a couple of drinks that others had ordered. When we finally... More
