We had a great meal here - local meats, cheeses, dumplings and pasta...(we had been skiing hard all day!). High quality food, wine and service all at reasonable prices. Certainly a recommended option in Dobbiaco.

We went there recommended by Heidi Hotel. Very good pasta (I chose Tortellini Nero) and good choices for the children (cotoletta and pasta). The staff was very kind and diligent. Besides, the beers were excellent too. We really liked it.

Was recommended this place by our hotel owner in Dobbiaco. Had reserved at lunch time for 7.30 pm. Service was good and the waiter spoke decent english although it was more of a German influence as seen by the Lederhosen worn by the male waiters. Had the Goulash which was very good and tender. Also ordered half a litre of... More

We booked initially for lunch but postponed for dinner due to logistic problems, they allowed the change & were pretty clear at what time to go, since the restaurant gets busy @peak time & days. The ambience & decorations are very nice, the food is local, well presented & prepared. The service is good & personal. Prices are in line... More

This is a popular, friendly place to eat. Food essentially Italian but with a big Austrian input. The steak I had was the tenderest that I have ever had, including those eaten in North America. Quick and friendly service.

We spent a lovely little Sunday afternoon here, enjoying good meat and wine. We tried the riserva among the vini sfusi and that was a perfect complement to the deer gulasch and the lonza di vitello. The decor is warm, cozy and inviting and the service friendly and courteous. Prices are higher than in other similar places but remain reasonable.
