Balanced menus of both fish and meat, original and executed with great attention to detail. The pizzas are also excellent.

We came to grab a meal at approximately 15h, but you can only order a few meals because they do not bake pizzas until 17h. We ordered a cold plate and burgers. Nice place, friendly staff. We didn't know the restaurant (we didn't go there for the pizzeria) and we stopped by chance. It is a restaurant that is not typical of the area, perhaps suitable for locals who want to try different things, but for tourists arriving from non-mountain areas, a typical menu is missing. On holiday in Dobbiaco for a few days, the Samyr Restaurant was recommended to us. We are immediately welcomed by Adriano, a fantastic waiter of Belluno origins (precisely from Cesiomaggiore, a charming town in Feltre). Adriano is brilliant, friendly and welcoming and, above all, he knows how to do his job splendidly, in fact he recommends excellent dishes which we are simply delighted by. And it's not just the apparently risky combinations such as venison with chocolate that amaze us, but rather the presentation technique and the surprising flavours, to say the least. A special mention should be made of the ricotta, blueberry and porcini ravioli and the truffle tagliolini: a true delight for the palate. We were able to come at short notice for lunch. The pizzas came very quickly and were very tasty! Gluten-free too! The service was very friendly.

Returning from a walk at Lake Braies we came across (after several unsuccessful attempts) this beautiful place (the only one in the area to have the kitchen open after 2pm)! Super low carb pizza, excellent normal pizza, and delicious salad with grapefruit shrimp and pumpkin seeds.
