I always spoke to Petros when passing this taverna and one night we had a good chat and it was so funny. He explained to me that this was probably the worst restaurant in Skiathos but in life we have to take risks so why not chance it?I thought this was hilarious as I had not heard someone trying to... We have been plesently surprised by Sakis, it's a back street restaurant with great choice of food and at good price too. And you have your very own Santa here in the form of Petros, you will know when you see him. 😄

Fantastic food and beer, really good value, the lamb chops are amazing, Pedros makes great conversation and always good for a joke or two.

Extremely friendly welcome. Brilliant service and tucked away from the busy town. Perfect for a laid back meal. Family run and great relaxed atmosphere. We had mushrooms in garlic, fried zucchini, tenderloin in creme sauce and lamb Kleftiko which just fell off the bone and so so tender! An absolute must visit

Loved it. Mussel saganaki starter piping hot. Pork chop for the wife cooked just the way she asked. I had chicken a la creme beautiful sauce. Wine water and bread. Proper chips 30 Euro. Host was a real character. Used a lot by locals which usually says it must be good. Definitely worth a visit

The tavern SAKIS began operation in 2006, with the taste of Mrs Vasiliki, which creates and cooks in the kitchen but with the personal care of her husband Mr. Saki, who is responsible to the grill. In particular we suggest you try the Greek traditional cooking our delicious dishes are prepared in the oven of our tavern. Moussaka, kleftiko, lamb, lemonato, pasta, sauce, stew. Do not miss the plate of mixed Greek flavors.
