They have recently refurbished it and turned it into a fast food place, some kind of Bistro, everything is now sold in paper boxes, paper cups etc, and it feels tatty and cheap. The menu... More

Ordered a steak pie & chips & peas which was dumped onto a plate immediately before we could even get the order for our second meal across - meaning that the first was getting cold before we had... Full of loud noisy chavs who can't keep their delinquent brats under control. Ordered 2 coffees and mine came 20 minutes after my partners. Apparently serving customers who've already paid comes low in priority.

Basic but clean and well lit—handy just to rest your legs after shopping or for friends to meet up and have a natter—90 p for a pot of tea (2 cups is cheap these days) a good place to stay while your wife goes and collects the shopping. If you like a greasy breakfast (and lots do) give it a... More

The seating has hard chairs, Formica type tables and hard tiled flooring, resulting in noisy scraping sounds whenever people moved.
