This was our first visit to the Black Boys and most certainly will not be the last. Good drinks, good food, good service, good everything. Don’t just take my word for it, go and be impressed as we were. That’s it!

This is a very atmospheric place, the staff were very friendly and the menu was extensive for a town centre hostelry. We enjoyed a light lunch which was well presented and very tasty and I would highly recommend The Black Boys hotel.

Very friendly and attentive staff - great choice of meals and drinks for lunch.Good location in town square - would have given 5 stars but they allow dogs in restaurant.However this wont stop us from returning.
