This is a 2* Michelin-rated restaurant which it deserves. The food is of the highest quality, as is the service. The staff are very welcoming and give excellent advice concerning the menu and wine list. Speaking of the latter, Mr Coussau has his own small vine yard. We tasted his rose wine which was delicious. Although this is an up-scale... More

We just had lunch at Relais de la Poste. We were short on time since we needed to get back to the Bordeaux airport shortly afterwards. The restaurant accepted to open for us at 12 instead of 12:30, and perfectly managed the timing so that we would end at precisely 1pm. We expected food to be excellent at such a... More

It is not the first time I have the chance to visit this retaurant. It is always a pleasure to enjoy the various meals which are cooked and presented perfectly. Every plate is a piece of art and every meal is delicious. For the fine gourmets people, this restaurant must not be missed!

Unique atmosphere, great interior and great french cuisine.Lobster soup is the best I ever had, beef perfect, homard as well.Desserts were very appropriate.Quite a bit portions. The service could have been more responsive but I can live with that since the plates very great.Definitely must visit place when in this area.

Entree of Lamb sweetbreads with white asparagus was delicious. Milk fed lamb as a main course was superb and for desert I chose Grand Marnier sweetbreads. Service was faultless & it is clear why the Coussau family have such a great reputation.

Everything was splendid but the 8 of us felt overpowered by the number of staff and the fussiness of the service. There were also far too many people booked into the restaurant and It took nearly 2 hours to be invited to the table from the outer courtyard. I'm told there is a far cheaper and just as good restaurant... More

The fact that this has 2 Michelin stars shows all that is wrong with the Michelin system. The chauvinism, the giving of stars seemingly based on the number of waiters rather than the cooking and the tolerance for falling standards.Just consider the two stars here with the two stars for Mugaritz near San Sebastian. The latter is in a completely different universe...
