Service was friendly, and it was very clean. Had the fish & chips, but wasn't impressed. The interior is just formica tables and chairs, so not that comfortable to sit for any length of time. It might suit families with younger children.
First & only time will never order from here again will bring our business back to Captain George’s. The fish that we were given today looked like it was a kids meal. It was the size of a fish stick! How they can charge that...price for mostly French fries is beyond me. We also ordered the grill chicken on a bun, it had no seasoning. Was bland & the cut of meat was disgusting like you had to gnaw at it. Would not recommend!!!!More
Great way to start a Wednesday evening with Concerts in thePark after Fish & Chips. Have one order with their really good cole slaw. Fish is a big piece, lots of chips. If you like it really crispy, just ask for fish well done, although...most times it is already pretty crispy. A good local place to eat, no liquor licence.More
Driving through to Go Camping in Trenton stopped to have Breakfast.
Great place.Good Breakfast old school Western Sandwich and Sausage & Eggs...waitress friendly service..coffee..little wait but reasonable timing.
Ordered takeout for two they recommended the 4 halibut and Two chips which was $28
What they tried to give me was not enough for one and it all fit in a single serve box ....
Want good seafood go to Captain Georges,
I love this little restaurant! I noticed liver and onions on the menu and decided to choose this meal for my lunch.
I would have preferred mashed potatoes to French fries but they were a treat.
I chose to have gravy on the side to...dip into as needed.
The meal was very filling and delicious. Next time I will have only one piece of liver instead of the two pieces that I chose.
I will definitely be back for lunch in the future.More
Stopped in for lunch with friends ......we had fish & chips but disappointed. The fish seemed dry and the fries seemed re heated. Perhaps it was because it was a slow day ....we would try again and hope it will be better.

Some items can be made gluten free. The deep fried items can not be as they are fried in oil that has had gluten items in it. The fish can all be pan grilled and the coleslaw is gluten free. There are also several salad options. Any of the burgers can be had sans the bun. Hope this helps
