Very satisfying meal & drinks (though we may be biased as it was our first time eating out in 4 months!). Enjoyed the club sandwich with half fries/half salad as others have suggested, and I wasn't disappointed. Large, well-seasoned pieces of chicken in the sandwich...and fries & dressing were great. Fish & chips was another hit, though the tartar sauce was a bit disappointing. The terrasse offers a great view of the water, and the servers were quick and professional. A bit pricey for pub-food, but the quality justifies it.More

Spacious terrace and tons of indoor seating. Street parking available at no cost. Right across from the waterfront. We visited on a Tuesday evening mid-September, so relatively quiet with only a few other patrons. Service was excellent, the waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and...able to offer options. We enjoyed the fish tacos with fries and Caesar salad, as well as their pizza on flatbread. The food was fresh, the beer was good, ... no complaints. We would definitely return if in the area.More

First time here as I’m visiting relatives. Great location with nice views. We sat on the outside patio. The club sandwich was delicious and you had choice of fries, salad or both. The salad with their vinaigrette dressing was tasty. Service was spot on. Menus...in English or French thankfully for me as I don’t speak or read french. (Relatives do but I appreciate the menu choice in English) Definitely will return as it was that good!More

Long time since I stop in a place without any information and become an excellent surprise. We was visiting this small place and decide to stop for a diner in this place. 1st and the most important thing: The service, 5 stars since we arrive...everything was perfect, all guys who work here on July 29 were very friendly specially our waiter Jonathan, thank you for your professionalism. The menu was ok for this kind of Restaurant/Pub everything was delicious we try almost 8 different dishes all good. I had a stout was good, only the spirits menu should be a little more big, but was descent. Of course I will return to this place, no doubt. If you are visiting Valleyfield, you can find in this restaurant a great experience.More

We were staying at the Valleyfield marina and this is about a 10 minute walk from there- very handy. We booked a table outside on a hot summer night. The server brought our cold beers and a delicious starter, the four cheese salad, very promptly....We then went on to have the salmon tartar main course and it was delicious! The service was great, our server was bilingual and very friendly. I see some reviews are mixed but based on our experience, recommend you give McBroue a try!More

Nice location in an old house, with a terrace in front. When we came, all tables outside were already taken, or booked. To sit inside was fair enough, as all the large windows were open or removed. We were there for lunch and ordered two...different platters, a charcuterie fromage and a mix of cheese sticks, chicken wings, etc. With the additional bread, this was sufficient for the two of us, as we shared it. Our friends had hamburger with french fries, but these fries were cold, very soft and tasteless. So a mix of impressions. Service was good. But the place quickly became so noisy that after 20 minutes we were just looking forward to getting out of that place. Everyone (of the guests) seemed to be screaming to overdo each other. So, avoid this place on a Friday or Saturday if you like to hear what your friends say at the table...More

Since we visited by boat the restaurant was easily accessible. Our server was wonderful....very accommodating and spoke English. Our food was timely but not rushed AND delicious. McBroue is a boating destination for us at least once a Summer.

Went to this restaurant as it was on the water and seemed like a new interersting place to have an afternoon lunch. Was not very busy and the menu looked good so we decided to try. The venu was beautiful (hence the extra star that...this restaurant deserves) but the service was painfull slow (45 minutes to get our food), this despite the restaurant being almost empty. The food was ok (actually, the burger and poutine were fairly good although the food temperature could have been hotter). The penne pasta carbonara had little to no flavor, same note on the caesar salad (flavorless) and they had a cream of leak soup that tasted odd. When we asked our server, she insisted that it was made correclty (turns out that they'd used the green leafy portion of the leak and it made the soup taste odd and bitter). the soup was completely green (usually The addage that the customer is always right does not seem to apply here. We received precious little attention during our meal to see if we were enjoying it. I had to pipe up to be heard (again, there were almost no patrons). When we addressed our concerns, the waitress was very defensive and offered no apologies (and despite the fact that the soup was returned, we were still charged for it). Shameful! This restaurant could be so much more and this 4$ soup made the diffirence between our coming again or not. Guess not. This should have been re-imbursed without question. I'd ask that the owner contact us via Trip advisor. Not acceptable! There are so many other fine dining venues nearby that you may want to sidestep this one completely (if only for the blatent disregard for its customers).More
