had a steak each and bottle of house red. Entrecôte was good but my husbands was tough as old boots,, bread and alioli put on table (not ordered) which we obviously thought was complimentary but was out on our bill. Bit naughty that,, overall for 60e think we could have eaten better elsewhere,,,

We experience dining at 2 restaurants each month, tonight we chose Cal Enrique, a seafood restaurant in Albir and was pleasantly surprised with the excellent service, and the presentation of the food we had selected. We will definitely be back to taste more choices from their menu.

With the temperature in the mid 30's it was lovely to dine on the front terrace where there was an enjoyable breeze. I was glad we avoided the inside because the air con. was fffreezing. Oh dear it could be so much better. My present to my wife at 59 and so disappointing. Why do the staff have so little appreciation of customers when so near to their tables.

We were searching for a good seafood restaurant in the Albir/Altea/Calpe area and Enrique's was recommended to us. We visited with friends over from the UK and were sadly disappointed.
