This excellent eatery provides a full taste of Fruili with excellent food and drink. If you get the opportunity to visit do not miss out. I will look forward to returning next time I am over.

Very nice and good food. Things you never expected. Sweet Gnocch. But alzo the sexy salad. All the dishes we tasted was so delightful.
When a local restaurant owner recommends that you come here, you know it is going to be good. We were in a group of 4 with me being the only one who speaks both Italian and furlan language, but that was not a problem for...the other 3 since our lovely waitress Monica spoke English to them. Our meals of pasta,a soup and the grilled meats were excellent. The grilled meat was the highlight of the night along with some grilled zucchini and eggplant. Their house wine was okay but the pinot nero castello was very good at a reasonable price. Monica also gave us a complimentary tiramisu that was also a hit with us. I look forward to coming back here next time I am in the Friuli region visiting family. It was a pleasure and thank you to Matteo from Ai Bintars for the recomendationMore
We had a great evening with friends. Very friendly service with great recommendations! We shared several antipasti and a big piece of meat :-)
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Friaul. Sensationell food and very kind and caring hosts. A Place to be remembered.
One of the best meals I've ever had. Accomodating, friendly and knowledgable staff. It's a quaint little restaurant tucked away but worth the trip.
I can recommend this restaurant. The only drawback is its location which is hard to reach without a car. The dining room is hidden inside a dreary looking pub, but once in there it is a nice, old-fashioned place. Friendly, quick service. Freshly baked, warm...bread. Fresh ingredients, good taste, reasonable prices.More
The service here is excellent, with friendly staff and the food is very good value for money; well prepared and all in a very pleasant atmosphere. Worth a second visit.
A young and original version of a traditional Italian restaurant! Also 0 km dishes! Great. English spoken.
We had dinner at Piciul the evening before easter. The place is nice and well kept, somehow "old style Friulian". I had a soup with local herbs and potatoes which was excellent, and a steak which was good as well (even though a bit more...than 8 small pieces of roasted potatoes would have been appreciated). I also sampled the lamb which was delicious if not totally awesome! The "house red wine" wasn't that good in my opinion, but it's probably a matter of personal taste. I'll go with a bottle next time. They have a gluten free menu, which basically offers a good choice on what to eat. The desserts are an exception, as the only gluten free option is pineapple. Service is attentive and professional, but also nice and fun. Before leaving, try the herbs grappa they offer, it can make you digest a dinosaur. I can't say anything about the price, as somebody else paid for me. :-)More
Dear Monica in front of house and her brother Federico are following in the footsteps of their parents. Bring your best possible appetite for the most spectacular florentine steaks- this side of florence ! Vegetarian- no problem, and great fish on request. To say my...wife and I love this place is an understatement in life.More
