This is both for the hotel and restaurant which are inseparable. Run by he family Baroni children a branch off the wine making family of the same name is a jewel in the not yet truly discovered part of Tuscany, Casentino Valley. Fantastic hospitality by Marta who's English makes all the questions you have go away and her husband, a... More

Chef Baroni cooks at a very high level, using local fresh ingredients and Tuscan roots as his inspiration. 64 degree egg with truffle was the first dish we tried. Simply amazing. Beautifully presented, it set the stage for the subsequent 3 days of unbelievable dining we enjoyed during our stay. A true hidden gem in the mountains of Tuscany.

Arrived here hungry and tired after a long but fabulous walk along a historic trail passing through Lierna and then climbing along a scenic trail through the forest up to Moggiona. Although the restaurant was closed the owner and staff were gracious in preparing a delicious simple lunch for us. We enjoyed a long chat with these lovely people. A... More

We stayed in the hotel 3 nights, and ate there once. Very nice and friendly service, and excellent food. We started off with a complimentary rucola soup. My wife enjoyed her tortino di pecorino, my starter was the scaloppa di foie gras. Mains: Tuna with pistachio crust on a bed of wilted spinach, and tagliata with mushrooms and a reduction... More

We ate here twice during our stay and all the meals were lovely, apart from my main on the last day, Pollo Al Cacciatore. The sauce was lovely, but the chicken was basically the boney bits I'd have thrown away, bits of wing, virtually no meat at all and I had to resort to picking bits with my fingers, leaving... More

When we are in Casentino we always visit the restaurant at i tre baroni. We probably have dinner there 4 to 5 times a year in different seasons. It is a great restaurant with very friendly staff. The food is what i would call classical tuscan style with a modern touch. Never a disappointment and always great choices. In summer... More

We visited the restaurant last summer three families with kids of all ages. Ready for us was two large separate tables one for the kids and other for the adults.
