A lovely bijou cafe. Nothing gourmet but tasty toasted sandwiches and cake. Coffee was a bit watery - but didn't complain.

Make sure you treat yourself to a Village Stores Breakfast when you visit Llansteffan. Giles Coren the restaurant reviewer had a dire breakfast at the wildly expensive Randolph Hotel in Oxford, he should pop to The Village Stores. A quality breakfast in a character room. Great value and service, unlike the poor quality badly cooked fare that was served up... More

Visited with my boyfriend on the last day of our stay - really wish we'd visited sooner as we'd definitely have gone back for more! Lovely English breakfast, well-cooked & good value.

Great coffee and interesting food to buy including fabulous and varied pies to take home - the lamb and mint is our favourite.

We had a fabulous meal accompanied by 60s music. The ambience was great as was the food and service. Unfortunately , when we tried to pay we were advised the card machine was not working and sent to the pub up the road for cash back. They were unhappy but thankfully obliged with 2 lots of cash including a fee.... More

Stopped off for a hot drink and snack after a walk on the beach and visit to the castle, and before the long walk back to Llanybri. They were shortly going to close but welcomed us and the dog inside and stayed open until we were finished. Mum and daughter team so so friendly, excellent service and full of suggestions... More

Love this little gem of cafe. We called in after a long walk with the dog and couldn't be made more welcome. Lovely pot of tea, toast and eggs and even allowed the dog to join us. The owners couldn't have made us more welcome and it was like stepping back to when I first visited the store 40 years... More

They do a variety of snacks, sandwiches as well as hot food such as soup. The drinks range is good too. We've sat outside with our 2 dogs before and then enjoyed a walk on the beach afterwards.
