We had a family breakfast/brunch. The food was really nice and fresh. The waiter was really nice, professional but friendly.

My wife and I decided to visit this quaint distillery one afternoon. When we arrived, we were greeted with a wonderful smile from the hostess. After doing the tour (best investment ever and many thanks to Jarrod), we ran into chef Larry. He was amazing...as we learned more about the distillery and himself. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the afternoon. Our waitress Michelle was awesome. She was so friendly and suggested a couple of cocktails. She suggested an order of the escargot which was served different than I’ve had and was twice as good as any I’ve eaten. When asked what we wanted for our main course, we asked if chef Larry could make a recommendation. After that my wife enjoyed the Fried Garlic Linguine and she described it as a flavour explosion in every bit. I enjoyed the half rack of ribs with maple glaze. Amazing. With the wonderful weather and the amazing staff, I can not express how much this distillery did to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. Thank you to the team at WolfheadMore
Thank you for the kind review, Terry. It was a pleasure to meet you and your wife and we are so happy to hear you had a great visit at the Distillery.
We had celebration party today for our daughter’s graduation at Wolfhead distillery for close to 30 family and friends. Service, food drinks were unbelievable. I wish I could give 10 stars review for our event today. Over the last few years we had dinners here...multiple times. Each and every one was consistently amazing. Thank you, Jennifer, Larry and your staff for amazing event tonight. All our guests were raving about it.More
So happy to hear you loved your visit. We are so lucky to have Jenn and Larry on the team and can't wait to share this feedback with them. Thank you for booking your special event with Wolfhead.
My husband and I enjoyed our lunch. We sat outdoors and had pickerel and chips, pulled pork and an Essex mule. The meals were tasty and filling and the service was great. We plan to return next time we are in the area.
THE PLACE AND THE CONCEPT ARE GREAT. THEY HAD MUSIC OUTDOORS AND IT WAS GREAT UNTIL YOU GET A DRINK IN A DIXIE CUP THAT TASTE LIKE CRUSHED ICE FOR 15 BUCKS. HAD THE SPECIAL FISH, PICKEREL THREE TAILS SECTIONS WHICH HAD ZERO TASTE AND...A BUNCH OF FRIES. DON'T FORGET THE TINY COLESLAW . SO DROPPED OVER 80 BUCKS AND FOOD AND DRINK WAS CRAP. TO BAD YOU WOULD THINK ITS A DISTILLERY SO THEY MIGHT GIVE YOU A DESENT DRINK.More
Very sorry to hear your visit with us was not as enjoyable as our other guests. We do serve our patio drinks in a 12oz branded plastic recycle cup and all indoor drinks are served in glass. We've always had positive feedback about our Pickerel...More
Now open for breakfast. It was delicious. The portion size was fair, you will not leave hungry. We had the 2 eggs, bacon (hubby had sausage) home fries (hubby had hash browns) with rye toast and coffee. It was all piping hot and tasty. The...staff are always amazing. You will not be disappointed. This is one of Amherstburg hidden gems.More
Excellent food. I had the cream of asparagus soup and a poutine. Terrific gravy. Soup was delicious! Hubby had the wolfhead burger and a garden salad. He was very pleased with his meal. Jennifer was our server who provided excellent and attentive service. Will definitely...be going back.More
We stopped in after a 4 hour cycle ride. Service was quick and accurate, menu was interesting, with goo options. Beer was spot on!
Perhaps we should have avoided the patio. The wasps were out in force and completing ruined our tasting. I tried their gin, their regular whisky, the coffee whisky, and the cinnamon whisky, and my friend had their specialty coffee. Such good stuff, and ordinarily a...fine patio except for the wasps. The staff were sympathetic but didn't suggest we move to a table inside. I still recommend them for a tasting. The samples were inexpensive for the quality. We didn't try the food.More
Wolfhead was taking indoor reservations as long as patrons were double vaccinated. The venue felt safe and comfortable. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend the linguini to all pasta lovers. The service was excellent and efficient. Wolfhead has many drinks that use their...distilled vodka and whiskey products. Wolfhead Distillery saved the day after a disappointing stop at a local winery during the afternoon. We travelled an hour to get there but it was worth the drive.More
We came to look at the retail store. The lady working went over and beyond to serve and help us. She was honest and knowledgeable, and assisted us with what we were looking for. We then inquired about lunch on the patio. We were seated...immediately without reservations, and served with kindness and respect. The perch meal is fabulous!More
Thanks so much for visiting! Hope to see you back again soon. Stay Wild!
This was our first visit dinner at Wolfhead in awhile. Service and food was very good. A bit on the pricey side for sitting at a picnic table. Seem to be moving to small plates?
We have gone on several different occasions and several different seasons. We have never been disappointed. Even in the time of COVID the staff and food were always spot on. Thank each of you for your dedication and amazing food and drinks.
The food and bevies were great as usual!!The service today was absolutely horrible..45 mins on the patio before we were able to place a drink order and it was not that busy when we were there..90 mins before a food order was taken!!!seemed to be...a lot of wait staff on today but service was bad!!!!More
A friend and I enjoyed lunch here today. Our server, Maddy, made some recommendations and also provided super service. They are doing everything right to make dining safe and enjoyable. It was a treat to enjoy lunch outside on a nice sunny day.
