A great place to dine and a local favourite. The food is excellent and the service above par. I will be back.

Having been to this restaurant before and after the upgrade and transformation that has taken place - all I can say - is WOW! What an improvement. The menu is interesting (hard to decide), the food is fantastic and the portions are very generous. We...also appreciated how great the staff were and how attentive they were to cleaning and sanitizing everything including door handles and bannisters. This crew really pays attention to service and detail. In addition to fantastic omelettes, home-made bread (baked on the premises), and great service, we learned a lot about the history of Dunnville and the flight museum. I love the story of the Attagirls - we all did. Definitely our first choice for breakfast and lunch and a great place all around.More
We just had breakfast at Flyer’s Cafe & Bakery. What a fantastic restaurant! It was recently renovated and there are so many interesting photos and things to see from the Dunnville flight museum. All of us thought that the food was excellent. The ingredients were...fresh, well-prepared and very generous proportions. We had rye bread toast and the bread had just come out of their in-house bakery. I spoke with their baker who said she has been asked to bake extra loaves for take-home purchases. I came home with take-out containers of bacon, great napkins & tea towels (nice hostess gifts or to keep) local honey and Uncle Paul’s BBQ sauce which is apparently locally made.More
First time back since new ownership. Not as good as it was. The breakfast ham was very thinly sliced and very dry. Didn’t care for the different home fries, however the fresh homemade breads are the same, delicious and nice large slices. Plus, the service...is always great.More
just On a whim we went in at the end of the day for the breakfast special. Excellent home fries and double smoked bacon. Will go again.
was ok but they Removed Alot of things off the menu. Food was just ok but Nothing to write home about. Good thing they kept their atmosphere the same or i would Never go in there again
I ordered 1/2 sandwich toasted with soup and a side of homefries. Asked to have my soup first. Didn't get it. It came with my meal. My father ordered the same soup. His had cheese on it - mine didn't. Sandwich wasn't toasted. Finished off...my meal with a luke warm cup of tea. Never going back.More
Quaint unusual cafe with character, original floorboards and retro decor. Fresh breads, soups, baked goods. We ordered ½ soup ½ sandwiches, both were delicious and generous servings. Would have ordered coffee and dessert but waitress never returned and even though there were plenty of staff...and not busy at the time, no one else came to ask if we wanted anything else. We paid and left.More
Met friends for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Many options to choose from. Food was well prepared and delicious. Service was friendly.
Place is a bit quirky but very enjoyable. The food is excellent and plenty of it. Prices are more than reasonable. Don’t think you could find a meal as filling and for the price for miles around. Wait staff, although very busy, was attentive and...food arrived in a quick time considering the restaurant was filled to capacity. Definitely recommend and will return.More
My wife and I go there for breakfast and we like the personal service, home cooked meals and very fair prices. It’s popular do lots of people are there, so don’t expect to rush, but it is well worth the wait. And your coffee cup...will always be full. The food is as good as home made and very filling. See you again soon !More
We come here for breakfast all the time! Friendly staff ! Clean restaurant with a nice open kitchen. The fact that they have gluten free muffins, pancakes and other options is an amazing bonus for me! I can eat there!
Found Flyer's Cafe and Bakery by accident and what a great surprise. Quaint building must be at least 100 years old. Tin ceiling intact along with the original wood cabinetry and floors. Unique in every way. Eating area was spacious, you needn't worry about being...crowded while dining. Menu choices were numerous had a difficult time choosing. Arrived for lunch with a friend and we both enjoyed homemade soup and sandwiches. Two types were offered and sandwiches were prepared on homemade bread made in-house. My soup the Beef Barley was hearty, the other soup Chicken Noodle was rich as well. No bouillons were used here! Sandwiches were delicious as well. Different varieties of bread and scones were offered for purchase and all baked in-house. Small articles and books were also on display for sale and I saw announcements for small concerts. Looking forward to getting back to the cafe soon!More
What a cool cafe. Great vibe for a concert. Special dinner was wonderful and the staff amazing. Planning a trip back enjoy more of the menu.
The meal was very interesting. I would recommend it to my own guests at our Adult Lifestyle Park just outside of Dunnville as we are always looking for good places for our guests to eat. The Queens Hotel is also excellent with excellent food a...portionsMore
