Classic fish and chips, great value, quick service. Located in downtown close to the park, take out is always an option. It's impossible to leave hungry

For a small town with at least 3 fish and chips restaurants that I am aware of, I am surprised this place is still in business. My friend and I had lunch at Halibut Time yesterday. We both ordered the halibut and chips with coleslaw. The piece of fish was not a bad size for lunch but both our meals... More

Me and a co worker always stop for food early in our shift as we travel a lot. Seen this place and decided to stop as we love fish and chips, big mistake. Extremely greasy to the point that's all you taste and it stays with you after. You feel sick by the time your done. My co worker puked... More

I had to dig through the tough better to find the bit of fish inside. The chips were so undercooked as to be inedible. I threw more than half of... More

My parents travel from Toronto to Port Perry for the great service, and the welcome back from their favourite server. Great fish and chips served hot and quickly!

We have eaten here several times now and always the food is excellent. Plentiful, well-plated and delicious. Thee is enough food in one serving to take some home for a snack later - they are very generous portions.
