Thought we would have a treat so decided to have the banquet menu poppadoms ok chicken starter dish had 2 small pieces of chicken. Sheesh kebab chewy and obviously hot from the microwave. Both main courses were a few pieces of chicken in sloppy juice also hot from microwave. Food aside the service was unfriendly and extremely slow. At no... More

The food at the Spice Inn is very good. Having had a takeaway on numerous occasions and eaten in once, I have yet to have a bad meal. The standards are always very tasty but there are equally some very interesting dishes on the specials menu that are worth investigating. The restaurant could do with some TLC as the decor... More

The food here is lovely and the staff are always accommodating. If you are a curry lover and haven't ordered from here, then you are missing something!

We are just so lucky having the Spice Inn in Long Ashton. Amazingly consistent, fantastic flavours and cracking value. Staff always so friendly. Lamb Tikka Mirchi highly recommended. Having lived in Bristol for decades and used multiple curry houses over the years, I am firmly of the conclusion this is the best in the area!

A party of 11. waiter could not get the drinks order right, duplicating some things, missing others. After ordering, the starters came after 45 minutes. The main course arrived at 9:00 PM after we threatened to leave - we sat down at 7:00 ! The food STILL didn't arrive together, one person waited a further 10 minutes. Not everything we... More

Went for a family birthday, table booked for 7pm. We were seated in the first room by the bar, it was full of people waiting for take-out. Awful service. Waited for 1 hour five minutes for the starter. At 8.45 there was still no sign of the main course. One of our party complained. The plates then came out but... More

After placing a phone and being told a pick up time the order was 20min late. ( walst waiting for order a customer from a table advised they had bin waiting 2 hrs already) should have listened I guess. Then after getting home items were missing from order. After calling them back to ask about it we were told not... More

This restaurant is very local to me and my family. Ever since it opened my family have enjoyed ordering quality food from here to takeaway or to enjoy in-house. Excellent customer service and a warm friendly environment in the restaurant creates a very authentic experience. I have never had a bad meal here and highly recommend trying the chef's specialities... More

Tucked away up a hill away from the main drag through Long Ashton, this restaurant is housed in a former pub. Once we had found out how to get in to the place (up the steps, turn right, turn left, past the porch and then double back on yourself) we found a fairly traditional restaurant, perhaps looking a bit dated...
