Came here as a tour group. Buffet with a reasonable selection of dishes. Only complaint is we got the “tourist” price, guide said one price, menu said another, waitress said both wrong there is a third price. Would have preferred to know up front.

Our group of 8 had lunch here on arrival in Chivay and a large, varied buffet awaited us. There was something for every palate, from vegans to meat-eaters. And, we were entertained by a local duo. Delightful.

Nice all-you-can-eat buffet. Alpaca, veggie fritters, and fried bananas were our favorites, but we enjoyed everything. Staff was friendly and helpful, some nice examples of local traje (clothing) decorating the walls.

Buffet not expensive ( about 30 soles), very good soaps, drinks not included, we had lomo saltado, some chicken, quinoa, rice, guacamole with tequeños, peruvian dishes in major. Especially flavors not amazing like ceviche for example, but I recommend always try Lomo saltado, it was...pretty near to the real flavor of the dish.More

The "cafeteria" formula in Chivay restaurants is probably widespread: both lunches we have had in town adopted this formula. The restaurant itself doesn't look bad: there is a wide choice, the prices are moderate, there is the chance to eat at your will. But the...advice is to be careful about the food you choice.
