This is not fancy food in a lovely location but it hit the spot for us. The buffet had just been restocked and the food was tasty and plentiful. What's not to like for about a fiver?

Came to this buffet after a tour of the Colca Canyon with our tour guide. The entire place was full of people and the service was terrible for the price paid,30 soles, which does not include something to drink. The food however was very tasty...and they had lots of variety but the chairs were not comfortable and the napkins were very cheap and thin.More

I did a tour in the Colca Canyon. Since the last lunch wasn't included the agency said that it is okay to eat somewhere else than buffet at this place but when we actually got there our guide practically pushed us to come here. I...regretted so much not just doing what I wanted! The place was freezing and the little heater didn't do anything to get the big place warmer. They had construction going on so it was really loud. In general the atmosphere was really bad. Just set up so you could get in the most peole possible! You practically had to get buffet since nobody came to our table till later and we didn't have that much time with our tour. They had food choices but nothing was really good and on the next day I actually had an upset stomach (Pretty sure it was from their food since I didnt have anything to eat afterwards...) And to top it off the waitress wasn't nice at all. She just came to get the money for the buffet (28 soles) like we were animals. To some girls our guide that before that it was possible to pay by card since they didnt have any money left. When they wanted to do so and the waitress kept saying that it isnt possible because the connection is low ( even though they had mastercard and visa stickers everywhere). Since they kept saying that they didnt have any cash, she went with them to the machine like it was the hardest task of the world and -it worked perfectly! I'm pretty sure they havedeals with the tour agencys since many groups came in. Bcause of that they dont care for service or anything! So if you end up coming here with a tour - DO NOT GO HERE! There are plenty other local places closeby where you can get good food for 5 or 6 soles that are good. ( and you do have enough time to go there while the others are getting their buffet!More

We stopped here for lunch. They offer a buffet for around 20soles and to be honest if we hadn´t had the lunch included in the tour we would definitely not have stayed there. The food was cold and tasteless. The price doesn´t include anything to...drink and I found it very pricey there. Would not go backMore

We came here for breakfast on the first day on our 3 day Colca Canyon trek. After getting up at 3 am travelling to Chivay from Arequipa we arrived for breakfast here. There were many tables and breakfast was basic. There is no atmosphere ,...it's a cold place and the staff I'm sure hated their jobs. There is not much choice when booked on a package so u go along with things. After the trek we stayed a night here as well. We had a nice room which was sun filled. There were renovations taking place & Thats why the dining area was so cold. Wifi worked in the cold reception area. Showers were hot . Staff really bad no English. Loved this little town, nice place to unwind for a day, relax the muscles in the thermal pools about 3 Kms out of town before getting on a bus to Puno, which is a bumpy ride for 8 hrs.More

Good food for a good price. It is a bufet. But most tours come here at the same time, so there are too many people! It gets noisy, busy and you can´t enjoy the food much.

We came here for lunch with a group on tour to Colca Canyon. The staff are not particularly friendly, as is often the way with establishments that rely on groups for their clientèle. There was a reasonable choice of cuisine, with an Alpaca meat dish...that was really nice. No green salad and not much choice for desert. Drinks were not included. I'm giving four stars because I think I have to cut them some slack, being in such a small town in a remote location... it may be the best show in town.More

I went to that restaurant which looked ok. Is a buffete so I could have tried different things. Some of the options included alpaca meat, quinua and some slices of pizza. Well, the juice I ordered, because drinks are not included, wasn't really good, then...I saw a client claiming beacuse of something he found in the food. In the restaurant says Free Wi-Fi, when I wanted to connect they told me that I had to go to one of the corners to have conecction.More
