Incredible place where you don’t need to have plans. You don’t need to do anything here- you just need to enjoy the views. They are spectacular! Just in front of your rooms window there are some of the most amazing views straight from National Geographic!...Also you don’t need to move anywhere to see condors- they fly just next to your balcony;) If it’s not enough- you will be pleased with tasty, fresh made and local cuisine, family-like, super friendly service and in the end of the day you’ll get a hot water bottle to make your bed even more comfortable ❤️More

The drive from the main road to the restaurant was surprisingly quite rough. I would not attempt it in a regular sedan. A large SUV, truck, or any 4x4 would have no issues, but we barely made it in a mini-van. They close for the...summer (rainy season) for this reason and because of lightning risk they said. We ordered crispy trout, a beef hamburger, caprese sandwich, and hawaiian pizza. ALL were very good. While not cheap (s/30-45 plate plus s/5 for a soda), it was not expensive for farm to table. They put a lot of love into the place, the landscaping, and the food. We had no reservation but had no issues being served although reservations are recommended in case there are groups. We stayed 2 hours so don't expect fast service, but it's such an amazing view. We saw no condors but 11am-1pm isn't good timing for them. The view is better than the cruz del condor in general. We asked to see the hotel rooms for future reference, and they were clean, simple, but nice. This would make a great place for a retreat and some alone time.More

Excellent place in a great location, with the most amazing views to the Colca canyon and the condors. The garden is stunning with colourful flowers. The food is top notch! Just can't recommend it enough.

This place was one of the highlights of our trip. A beautiful location all by itself on a rocky hill perched on the edge of the canyon. The hosts were very welcoming and two massive condors greeted us on arrival. Our room had a terrific...view and was very charming. The food and pisco sours were delicious - with great mashed potatoes instead of the usual fries. The family grows an incredible variety of flowers making this a very special stay.More

Located 10 minutes past Cruz de Condores (before arriving into town of Cabanaconde), the location has outrageous views of Colca Canyon. Our canyon-view room (#104) had 50% view of canyon but the hotel's reception/lounge/restaurant had an unimpeded, glass view of spectacular Colca Canyon. Before sunset,...we walked around the property's surrounding canyon-rim paths, soaking in the incredible views, spotting a periodic condor and enjoying the peaceful quiet. Afterward, we went to the restaurant area and were greeted with a crackling fireplace before savoring a light soup for dinner (though they offer a full menu.) As we had read, be prepared to be cold in the room, though you can grab one of their extra heavy blankets provided. The next morning at breakfast, we were thrilled as a few condors started riding thermals past the window. We stepped right outside the door and were treated to the marvel of these pterodactyl-like creatures gliding within 25 feet of us. We were like giddy schoolkids. For amazing views, reasonable price and welcomed tranquility, we recommend La Granja de Colca.More

Amazing landscape, cozy atmosphere, traditional food - everything was so good. The best place in this area with a gorgeous sunset.

Excellent location on top of a cliff over the Colca canyon. High chance to see condors there without sharing the masses at Mirador. Just stay on their terrace, have a coffee and wait. Very friendly staff and very service minded. Meals are a bit expensive...for what you get.More

After Condor viewing at Cruz del Condor we drove a few km to this unbelievably beautiful hotel/restaurant with incredible views of the canyon. Walter the owner was extremely friendly and gave us a tour of the property even taking pictures of us with beautiful flowers...and the canyon in the background. Since it was such a beautiful day, they set up a table outside on the terrace with an umbrella for us. My husband had the Alpaca Lomo Saltado and said it was the best he had in Peru, we have been traveling in Peru for 4 months and that is his favorite dish! I had the grilled trout which was a bit small but still delicious prepared by chef Raquel. Highly recommended if you go to the Colca Canyon.More

We stayed overnight at the hotel so this is the only dinner option unless you bring food along with you. For those that aren't aware, this hotel/restaurant is quite far from the town of Cabanaconde (about 20 min by car) and is about 1.6 km...(1 mile) from the main road up a long hilly dirt road. Food was quite good and reasonably priced, with many of the standard Peruvian options on the menu such as trout, alpaca, quinoa, etc. The wine and beer selection is quite limited so it's lucky we aren't picky. The room itself is quite grand with high ceilings and lots of open space. There is a fireplace in the restaurant, which was quite welcome given the cold. The host also provided blankets to cover up at dinner, which is the first time I can ever remember having a blanket offered at dinner :-). Service is pretty typical of Peru where they seem to bring out the dishes one at a time when they are ready, as opposed to everyone eating at the same time. Rather annoying but seems to be the case everywhere in Peru.More

Stayed 2 nights with breathtaking views and TCL from staff. This is a small operation so not polished but a grand experience for my husband and I. Good food and nice room. Lots of close views of condors, hawks and even a green parrot. Remember...that the lodge is at 4,000 meters and the road from Arequipa climbs to almost 5,000 meters or about 1,500 feet higher than the highest peak in the lower 48 states in the US. Altitude does make an impact so consider some quiet time to adjust before hiking trails.More
