Typical "osteria" very nice in particular a nice place as scenery and with a wide choice of typical food. Service is familiar, and dishes portions are really reaches. Good to meet this region's culture and attitudes.

Stopped off here for lunch from a visit to neighboring Nemi. Parked in parking lot across the street - can see parking being a bit challenging during the busy dinner period. Loved the open interior... nice deli-like bar to pick favourites: Porchetta, Ricotta Di Bufala, cheeses, and meats. Then selected Carbonara and Bucatini all' Amatriciana dishes. I can't say personally... More

This is one of the typical local Osterias, when you can have local traditional dishes and house vine. The rustic style ambience is very cozy, the waiters are very nice and speak English. Besides a large selection of home made pastas and other dishesh, including very good and freshly made dessert, they offers a generous variety of antipasta, cold appetizers... More

If you try to translate Castelli Romani into English, you may come up with Roman Castles, thinking about real medieval castles, but in real it stands for volcanic areas surrounding Rome. There are several villages comprising Castelli, famous ones are Ariccia, Frascati, Castelgandolfo, Velletri and others. So, if you heard about them, you definitely know they are famous for good... Local friends brought me here. Great food and the area is amazing. Don't forget to try ciambella with red wine. Recommended highly.

Great restaurant located in Ariccia near Rome ( about 40 minutes drive) . Small town near Castel Gandolfo famous for the Porchetta. We started with a porchetta plate as antipasto and then we went with with pasta dishes that were delicious. The house wine was perfect companion for our meal ... so was the coffee and the amaro. Service was... More

We eat here at least once during our stay in Ariccia. The location is definitely neat. The entrance is an opening in a retaining wall. The specialty is Porchetta Romana and their buccatini l'Amatriciana is first rate. All of the cured meats are excellent, especially the coppietti. The bread from this region is my favorite in all of Italy and... More

Despite far from Rome down town, it is worth it. The food is delicious and the antipasto (starters) more than outstanding!! Different kinds of pastrame, prosciuto, cheeses, breads and they were all nhumy! The tables are a bit close to each other and I took my one year old baby daughter that made my night a bit tougher but still... More
