The service was rude. Tiramisu was bad. Water in the bathroom was freezing and the glass was dirty because of lipstick. We came to drink some coffee and have a rest but they didn't ask if we would like to sit and didn't say that there was a difference of the price between consuming sitting and in the bar so... More

We were not ready for dinner at 6:00 p.m. after a day at the beach. The best solution was to sit at the seaside terrace and enjoy an Aperol Spritz. It costs 6.00 € and includes a vegetable dip, chips, peanuts, noodle salad and canapés. Close it off with dinner at the same location, or as we did, jump directly... More

This is a great setting on an evening. The tables are set around a swimming pool and just behind this is the sea lapping on the beach. The service here was polite, fast and precise. It was also noticeable there were numerous reservations, even on a Monday evening. The pizzas and calzone were excellent, as was the vegetable pasts dishes.... More

Had lunch here and it was very peaceful, they have their own private beach so it was ok if you weren't dressed up. The pizza was delicious and the gelato was great. Definitely worth the visit.

I went with a group of my friends at night. We were there for lunch at the beginning of the day, the service and food were amazing. Later we all ordered sundaes, which were amazing as well. The customer service we experienced was the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. We were greeted by a middle aged lady with long dark... More

Nice setting with tables overlooking the black sand beach. They had cabanas and chairs that you could rent and a pool outside the restaurant. Food was OK

Enjoyed a lovely setting of the sun before dinner. Our meal was served around the pool and we were so fortunate to have a DJ playing not only local Italian music but to my surprise 'Barry White' tunes! Our meal was served in a very relaxing atmosphere with supreme service. The staff did speak English! Many options on the menu... More

This was the most horrible experience in Ostia and I will keep it short because there is not much to say; worst service and place in Ostia. We arrived in late afternoon and just wanted to have coffee. The tables have no table clothes, the waitress' blouse was covered with coffee stains, they came to get our order after we had... More

As a change from the frantic pace of Rome, we took the train to Lido for a change, mixing with locals who were out in force walking their dogs and (the day we went) enjoying some street theatre and stalls selling handmade goods and advertising local businesses and charities along the seafront. We picked Salus for refreshments - for no... More
